I was very surprised by this product as it is built like a tank. The base is CAST IRON. First I’ve ever seen that. The top plate is very solid steel plate. There is nothing wrong with this. It’s just unusual to have a speaker stand this overbuilt! The feet, if used with the provided plastic cups for hard flooring, are a bit problematic. The adjustable spike is ok, but the plastic “footplate” (their term) doesn’t attach to the spikes. The spikes rest in the plastic “footplates” and require a heavy stand to rest in them. Try aligning four adjustable spikes into four plastic bits on a hardwood floor. A challenge.

Speaker stand was very easy to assemble. It is made of heavy metal and it looks great! My speaker fits perfect on the platform.

My only concern was that the assembly instructions were vague at best but after sorting it all out the end product is just perfect for what I wanted. Very well suited for a center channel that needs to be low to not get in the way of tv or screen. Heavy weight to better support a speaker.

This stand is very well made, and exactly what I needed to mount my center speaker on. The platform is also slanted slightly relative to the floor, so it "fires" sound a bit upward, toward the listener. Putting it together was very simple, and I am NO "mechanic." It also comes with small "sticky pads" to help the speaker (whose surface are is, of course, larger than the "resting plate") stay in proper place when fixed properly. I'd recommend this product to anyone.

I am really happy with these stands. Though advertised as a center-speaker stand, I have them under L/R stereo mains - heavy 3 way Klipsch speakers that are significantly taller than book-shelf speakers (~30") and these stands are perfect for them. I wasn't sure if I'd be happy with the 6 degree angle for an upright speaker, but got luck with the way mine sit on the stand. The front feet of the speaker sit in font of the speaker plate, and the rear feet sit on the speaker plate, essentially negating the angle. I may take the feet off though and see if I like a main that is angled up a bit. Anyway, great product.
