SpektrumA2020 Nanolite Servo

This servo performs as expected. I used these servos for my RC gliders: Libelle and Alula by dream-flight. They’ve survived some decent crashes in which control surfaces were severely contorted and occasionally ripped from the aircraft. Only in two crashes did a servo break; both cases resulted in stripped gears.When opening a servo for repairs, the tiny set screws are easily stripped, be warned!For its weight and size this servo has a high torque. My gliders have large control surfaces (hard on the servo), but rarely fly over 20 mph (easier on the servo). In the rare occasion that the glider exceeds 20 mph, I believe the high torque makes a difference.If the cost is within your budget, these servos work great for light-weight applications.Note: Stripped gears can easily be fixed with a parts pack or by rotating the gear’s neutral position until the stripped section is outside the angle of engagement. During any disassembly, be sure to record where each gear came from.

The servos have just the right amount of strength for a 6 oz flat foamie rc airplane.
