ANPRSN3400 Silcon Nitride Igniter exact replacement kit for Honeywell Q3400A1024

It took a lot of research to find this part! The usual place I look for appliance part wanted $124 for the actual oem replacement.I installed this about a month ago and it is working well so far. (Fingers crossed)WARNING - The igniter diameter of this one is a little larger than the original I replaced. So, out of the box it does not fit! It is too wide for the hole in the bracket. So I had to hand bore the hole for quite a while before it would fit. The metal is pretty thick and strong (great for a bracket, not so great if you have to widen the hole by hand).So, if you don't have the tools for that or don't want to be bothered you should probably keep looking.

I broke the brittle igniter trying to clean soot off of flame sensor. My local parts guy wanted 4x for the same part. Luckily it wasn't too cold in the season so I choose to wait a few days to receive this part and completed replacement in under 20 minutes (plus time watching youtube to learn about it). Can't speak to longevity but this is a fairly low tech part and easy to replace.Furnaces are low tech products and parts are relatively cheap but service calls relatively very expensive as they happen when you can 't afford to wait. It will pay handsomely to spend some time to understand the three step ignition process to be able to diagnose where an issue may be (and do the tune up early in fall so you can afford to order parts on-line (not many are Prime or 1-2 day delivery).Tip: When you are changing furnace filter (4-5" ones last an year compared to 1" that last 30-90 days), clean pressure sensor and blower motor connector tubes that tend to clog up and clean soot from flame sensor. These two are the most common reasons for furnaces starting but then shutting down within 30 sec.

Fits and works. At first I thought it hadn't solved the issue, however the problem was that soot or something had built up on the inside of the pilot light gas tube, which I was able to clear by blowing through the tube.

It fixed the problem it was easy and a great price and came fast
