Very nice colors and texture. At the best price I could find here and even eBay. It's warm and cozy. It does not overheat you on hot summer weather, so it's excellent for summer too, to keep your feet from freezing from too much air conditioning while watching movies on the couch. It is adult size. I'm 5'5" and it reaches my chest. Pretty tight around the knees but it stretches a lot and thus it's not uncomfortable once your legs are in. Not sure about the composition but it does not irritate my skin (and I cannot stand acrylics and other synthetics on my skin) nor itches like wool does, so that's a huge plus. Love it.

I bought this gift as a birthday gift for me mother. It is beautiful to look at. Unfortunately, she can used it. Apparently my 4'-11", 103 pound mother is too large for the opening and can not get into the "tail" to snuggle comfortably. Obviously, this is a great disappointment.

It's ok. This was a present for my 17 year old 5'8 niece. It's a beautiful blanket, just a bit short. It would be nicer if the blanket actually covered her torso.
