I love that these pencils do not need to be sharpened often even with daily use! These are my favorite to use with my kindergarteners!

Best pencils ever
I bought these pencils for a second grade class. The teacher and the students love them. They sharpen nicely and the lead does not break like most pencils. I would recommend this product to anyone and I would buy them again.

Good quality and sharpen well
Order these for my K students every year. Good quality and sharpen well...although every year I have at least one student figure out how to split them.

A pencil for those of us who appreciate high quality even in a pencil.
These Intermediate Try Rex pencils are the best pencils I have ever seen or used (yes, better than Ticonderoga or Staedtler). They are a little bigger than the standard # 2 pencil, but a nice size that fits comfortably in your hand. The shape of this pencil would help most people who hold their pencil incorrectly to naturally want to hold the pencil in the right position. The pencil lead is nice and thick (compared to a standard # 2 pencil) so it is harder to break. The lead is a nice dark color for writing. They are extremely strong...I have seen them walked on, sat on and mistreated other ways by my boys and they have stood the test (I cannot say that at all about the other pencils mentioned above). Rarely do they snap in two. We have bought and used hundreds of these over the years and I just bought another 40 for the school year on another website. Put this with a great pencil sharpener and a good Pink Pearl eraser and you have an excellent quality pencil you can count on. The only negative I can think of is that they don't have an eraser...but that is ok since the tops of most pencils are worn out fairly quickly anyhow (not to mention a lot of them are worthless and don't work at all).
