A little thicker than gauze, and sturdier- 10 stars-worth
We got the 4-inch wide roll to line the lymphedema wrap on an elderly family member's arm. She has kinda' flabby old arms, but one is thicker due to the edema. This is simply perfect for her need. I cut a thumbhole and it doesn't tear out or fall apart. And it's not very thick, just about two or three times as thick as the very light gauze that you could use for cooking, or as the thin stockinette that they use at the PT place. And it's very stretchable, so very comfortable for her.

Great option
I've been using this after breaking my ankle and having surgery. It's really nice to use these around the house in my air cast rather than the tube socks, since it's a lighter material. They're not quite as snug to start as the ones I got from the hospital and seem to stretch out a bit faster, but I have no regrets purchasing this and would definitely recommend it.

Good for post op bandaging
Perfect post op when in a boot and bandages and changing daily. Easy to cut size needed. Comes in a roll. Thought I wouldn’t need much of it but used a lot in the healing process.
