It’s a beautiful Ugly Stick!
How can you go wrong with an Ugly Stick? You can’t. This is a solid rod and reel configuration. It is stout and sturdy, yet has a sensitive tip for those persnickety nibbles. It casts well, holds a lot of 30lb line, has a solid feel and steady retrieve. Nothing not to like here. And the price?…well, like I said, nothing not to like here!

Great for Shoreline fishing the real isn’t the greatest but it works. Have to make sure it gets washed after saltwater use.

Rusty and jammed in less than a week of first use.
First trip to the beach and the reel jammed completely. Couldn’t reel it at all. Opened it up and everything is rusty. Can’t believe this happened in less than a week. I usually clean stuff up and add grease after a trip. I never thought a reel could get wrecked so quickly. I’ve got multiple other reels that have not had problems like this.

The reel and the rod looks good, but I think there's a problem with Amazon shippings or something like that, I received the reel and the half of the rod, twice!
