True to color, beautiful.
I was a little worried about ordering this for a bride that wanted a Tiffany Blue pirate coat, because the color says "jade." I crossed my fingers and ordered it, and it is EXACTLY the beautiful turquoise pictured. Be advised that brocades/jacquards ALWAYS fray, it's just the nature of the fabric. This DID NOT fray more than any other, but be advised if you are a novice, this fabric can be tricky to work with. You will need interfacing etc for most projects. Here it is on the coat. Again, I thought it was stunning!

Heavy Jaquard satin. Made beautifull Duvet set. Love it.
Awsome fabric first thing I did once I got it was order more! I Love the color, and the material is beautifull. This is not a thin satin (like pajamas) this is very heavy satin. This material is almost upholstery, nice and heavy. Made beautifull pillow covers and a duvet for my bed.

Beautiful, but not lightweight!!!
According to the description, this material was exactly what I wanted, a "lightweight and ultra soft charmeuse satin" with "a beautiful hand(g) and drape" which "is appropriate for blouses dresses and skirts." I gave this fabric 4 stars, because it is absolutely gorgeous, but it's description is very deceptive. It is much too heavy for any blouse or dress. You might be able to use it for a skirt, but since it doesn't drape well, it would be a "noisy" skirt. It's perfect for curtains, upholstery, and pillows, but not apparel. The white is a true white, and I love the rose pattern.
