Hi do you just plug this in?

No, You would have to get someone to wire it, It's not a plug, It's hard wired

Do both of the ovens have a light inside?

Yes there's lights in both ovens

My cooker completely shuts down in the middleof cooking or baking. Is this normal? I have to switch off mains and wait 10 mins for it to work again.

Mine does the same my joint off beef had been in oven for over two hours and it was still raw….Mine is going back to Argos.
