Madison Reed Radiant Hair Color Kit, 4.5NNN Darkest Brown, 1 Pack

I haven’t written a review in Amazon a long time, but for someone who has grays that come in every four weeks and had to spend about average $300 to get professionally graded cause I could not find a box to cover my stubborn grays. this is golden. It covered all my grays. The trick is not to leave it on 35 minutes to do 45. I think I even left it on 50 to make sure you get a shade darker than your natural hair color so I’m medium brown got dark brown covered 100% on my grays this is for a fraction of the cost. I’d pay at a salon and it has such beautiful like a product with it along with shampoo, conditioner, cream for your hair so that you can put around the base of you’re head so you don’t get stained. Very thoughtfully packaged just a long review but you won’t regret getting this for anybody who has stubborn stubborn grays!!!!

This hair color is definitely worth the extra cost. I will never buy drugstore hair color again. Madison Reid is noticeably different. I have dark hair and I typically use Barletta or Moderna. They both work beautifully with my dark hair and completely cover the gray.

Very nicely packaged looks like a professional kit, give you everything you need. Everything is good quality. It covers better than the store boxes. This is all I will use from now on. Try it. You’ll love it.

I tried this color out of desperation due to having mild allergy symptoms to a demi permanent color as well as a few other permanent home colors. I'm praying to the hair color gods that this brand will be my hairs saving grace!!!! I applied the formula yesterday using 2 boxes as I have long hair. One problem I generally have I scalp itching and irritation during and after processing. The irritation was much less in comparison to other products I've used. I might add that I had washed my hair earlier in the day to remove product so my scalp was already drier and has been flaky for a few weeks. If I hadn't had that issue there likely could've been no irritation at all. The flow of the color is slower than other products asking it easier to control and less messy overall. I loved that it came with barrier cream, not one but 2 pairs of quality gloves, a processing cap AND color remover wipe!!! Bless this company for being so thoughtful these things make the process so much better!!! I will say the remover wipe works on skin and counters but left my neck red after. Also note that I have VERY sensitive skin and the irritation was gone by morning. The color felt dry in hair and not at all conditioning. Rinsing and washing went fine. The shampoo and conditioner provided also worked well and felt great. My hair did feel very dry afterwards but ....let's be honest it is long and has been processed several times with box color so I'll accept that. Also this is permanent color not a demi permanent gloss so there's that aspect. It's been less that 24 hours so my scalp is still slightly angry but I'm happy to report that my post coloring hair loss wasn't too bad. I'll see how things go in the weeks following but I'm really hoping that this is the brand for me because everything about the products provided as well as the excellent gray coverage and beautiful color I got are a win for me!

I have been coloring my hair for at least 35 years. Madison Reed hair color kit is the most well planned out, thoughtful, wonderful haircolor I could ever buy! There are 2 sets of gloves, cap, Barrier Cream, Cleaning Wipe and Shampoo, Conditioner for after washing out color. I’m about 75% grey so I use the full kit on my hair about once a month. Kit aside, the color is natural, shiny and deeply penetrating so I’m not looking at grey hair in 3 days like the other junk on the market. Just one small tip-be sure to open the shampoo and conditioner before you wash everything out because once you’re in the shower, ( at least my hands aren’t strong enough to crack open those packets). I have used this product for over two years and have never had one complaint. I hate to say it will work for everybody, but I do believe you’d be pleased. I used a lighter color on my best friend a while back, and she absolutely loves it too! I’ve always had very very dark hair so I use the 4N it comes out perfect every time! Love it!! It’s a bit pricey at 30.00 but to me worth every dime-beats spending $75 and more at a hairdresser!! Thank you Amazon for carrying such a great brand. When I use one box up, I order the next one right away!!

Worth every penny my hair came out gorgeous it's been 4wks and my hair still looks like it was just colored I hemed and hawed about buying this so glad I did need to sign up for auto delivery.

In case you are like me - with highly sensitive skin and you think this is the answer - it’s not. No PPD - no ammonia - sounds great, right? I did the patch test - nothing. Waited and then colored my hair - first it was great. Beautiful color! I am on day 3 now and my head and face is swollen beyond recognition and my scalp is oozing and burnt. I’m taking heavy duty medicine now to try and control it. Hoping I can help someone who is highly sensitive to this stuff. Don’t do it!!!! It’s so not worth this.
