For that price I expected better quality pot. You cannot see how much water is inside the pot. The wood handel is not solid and it may catch fire on the gas stove.

Arrived today in time for morning cuppa. Very fast delivery. Great quality item, nice size, holds lots. Great cup of coffee (brewed on gas hob in no time at all). Looks like it's going to be a permanent replacement for my electric filter coffee maker. Easy to clean. No de-scaling, a must for every coffee lover.

This seems well made (only arrived today); sturdy and the basket flows well (doesn't overflow as my last percolator was prone to do). It arrived in exactly 2 weeks to Perth Western Australia - great service. Edit - just found it it doesn't work on an induction cooktop.

I purchased the Eurolux Percolator based on several thousand satisfied customer reviews. After several decades of the standard plastic drip-based coffee makers that eventually need to be replaced and to be honest, the coffee from these makers is at best okay. The coffee temperature is not really all that hot as well. I am also wanting to get away from all of the plastic leaching from these drip machines and not being able to periodically sanitize parts beyond the canter and filter rack. I ordered the Eurolux several weeks ago and have been drinking some of the best coffee I have had in a very long time! My average stove top percolator brew takes about 30 minutes. The few additional minutes of brew time is well worth the wait for exceptional tasting coffee! No more bitter taste! The coffee is so smooth! During the percolator brew, the house is filled with the smell of freshly brewed coffee! I ordered the Eurolux 12 Cup Percolator. My brew consists of 62 ounces (8-cups) of filtered water, 10-11 tablespoons of course ground coffee. I have a gas stove and will brew on a medium or just a smidge below medium heat. Once the water begins boiling through the glass percolator top and I can see a coffee color, I will continue the rolling boil for an additional 7 minutes and then shut off. I allow the freshly brewed coffee to rest a few minutes than pour. Once in a mug, the coffee temperature is around 170 degrees Fahrenheit. Another moment of cooling and I'm then enjoying some exceptional tasting coffee! The quality of the Eurolux is exceptional. The stainless steel is beautiful with a mirror like finish. Absolutely NO leakage from the spout. A very clean, smooth pour. Eurolux provided white disk coffee filters to prevent grounds from getting in your brew. I've opted to continue using these same filters and just ordered another 200. The 64 ounces of coffee allows both my wife and I to enjoy several cups of fresh coffee with no waste. If there happens to be any coffee left, I remove the pots filtration basket and simply warm up the coffee to drink later in the day. No waste.
