Just Mobile MP-168 Alupad Mouse Pad

Can't complain about the style.It is a good looking mouse pad.The slight pebbly surface quickly wears off leaving a fine debris behind.Daily cleaning is the norm. Seems to be quite a bid of drag, not as slippery as an Xtrac mouse pad.The rails on the Magic Mouse pick up particles that need to be cleaned off often.Since the crud on the rails is white, I am assuming that it's coming from the mouse pad.

I have never had a hard mouse pad before this. I switched to a new glass desk and needed something. The design of this is beautiful. The aluminum and white polycarbonate compliment my Mac perfectly. At first it seems loud but I think that's just getting used to it because I hardly notice it at all anymore. The polycarbonate does have a bit more texture at first that smooths out with use. The same thing happens with Apple keyboards and such. It is just what happens to the material. As some others noticed it did get kinda dirty at first. It was easy to clean though and as time goes by I notice it gets dirty less and less. This is an excellent product well worth the money.

Concept: A mouse pad that never wears out and looks great :10Reality: 2 A mouse pad that looks great but uses some kind of cheap plastic that balls up and sheds literally covering the work area with plastic crud. I am not sure what it is, others have alluded to it in posts as well - its like the plastic sheds and makes all kinds of little specks - all over the place. The sides of the pad look like someone shoveled snow if you can believe it.We use an Apple magic mouse, perhaps with another brand its not so bad, but this pad literally looks as good as anything Apple designed so most of the people who bought this are probably Mac users.For $50 I'd expect a lot better material to be used. I am very disappointed in this product - and mad at myself that I wasted my money on two of them. There are better options out there.

I got this alupad for my husband's birthday. He loved it! It was the one techy thing he had not heard about. (he listens to about 1,000 tech podcasts) It looks great next to his  Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad  and the  Apple Magic Mouse  is the perfect counter part. I would admit that, its a little flashy and definitely not an absolute essential, but I think that's what made it such a great birthday present. The product was exactly as it was described, delivered in a shrink wrapped box, and very timely. 5 stars :)

My lovely pad for mouse

I purchased this to use with an Apple Magic Mouse. Due to its two bottom rails the Magic Mouse will not glide easily unless it has the right type of surface. The reviews were good on this Just Mobile pad, and I have another Just Mobile product (headset holder) that I was impressed with. The positive aspect of this mouse pad is that it is very solid, due to two layers of aluminum bonded together. And the textured surface initially worked really well with the Magic Mouse, especially after I applied teflon tape to the bottom rails of the mouse. The negative aspect is that the white painted-on textured surface wears smooth very quickly, in my case in less than 2 weeks, causing the Magic Mouse to glide less easily. A big disappointment, especially at the price you pay for this product. I am guessing that unpainted aluminum or plastic textured mouse pads will last longer. I have ordered a 3M thin pad to try over top of this one.

I have never been a mouse pad type of guy ... but just got a glass top desk and needed one. This pad is beautiful on the desk and has a nice sturdy and heavy design not to move around. Also it is big enough that you don't need to keep picking the mouse up and moving over to get to the other end of the screen. Great job!

It's a personal problem. Same as in grade school: I cannot stand the sound of chalk scraping on a blackboard, or the feel of certain items rubbing over a slightly gritty surface. This mouse pad is DELIBERATELY gritty, no doubt to provide reliable traction for the *truly swell* MAGIC wireless Mac Mouse. It is also the lushest, prettiest and most sumptuous mouse pad EVER. So it remains a personal problem. I cannot bear the feel of Mac mouse traction ribs over this surface. But if that is NOT a personal problem for YOU, please buy TWO to make up for my loss, that is, my inability to appreciate this terrific device. Hmm, wait, buy mine first! I waited too long to return it, hoping something magic would magically change. As we say in Hawaii: Lolo Head! (Loosely translated as Stupid Head.) Sigh.

Works better than other mousemat I have tried, Looks good. No issue with noise that some others have mentioned. Would have been five stars if the price was lower.

Pros: well made. cons: Apple mouse leaves black marks on white base ?

Pro:Prodotto arrivato prima del dovuto, ben imballato, superficie piu spaziosa di quel che sembra in foto, robusto e i gommini inferiori aggrappano bene.Contro:La lastra dove il mouse appoggia è molto porosa, lo scorrimento risulta impreciso e col passar del tempo potrebbe rovinare la base del mouse, allo stesso tempo è troppo tendente al beige ed è fastidioso il contrasto che crea con apple magic mouse e wireless keyboard (a confronto sembra sporca).Conclusioni:Il rapporto qualità/prezzo c'è ma lo sconsiglio a chi decide di affiancarlo ad una workstation Apple ben curata

Antes de adquirir esta "alfombrilla" para ratón pregunté a los compradores qué tal les había resultado y principalmente si el ratón de Apple resbalaba correctamente.Tras leer sus respuestas me vi motivado a adquirirla, pero cuál fue mi sorpresa y desilusión al comprobar que había hecho una compra poco acertada.El ratón de Apple no resbala correctamente, se oye un ruido molesto al arrastrarlo y la imprecisión es evidente, ya que el cursor da saltos, como si el lector óptico no leyera bien la superficie.Así que devolví el producto y solucionado.Resulta inconcebible que un fabricante haga un producto con semejantes características y que además pretenda cobrar un precio exorbitado por él, ya que el hecho de utilizar materiales como aluminio, etc., no lo justifica.
