You likely already know what this product is and how it works. They cinch onto outdoor faucets without an issue and appear to work just as well as conventional Styrofoam covers. Mine have held together through two freezes just fine. If you need them and the price is right, have at it.

These arrived in a very thin vacuumed sealed bag, but once the bag is opened they swell up some, but not as much as I thought they would. They should provide enough protection in South Georgia where I'm at, but I don't know how well these would do in single digit temperatures.

I have small quarter turn faucets on my house. We live in southern Texas where it doesn't get too terribly cold so houses aren't built for freezing temps. Mine has brass fittings on PVC pipes.When our house was brought in, I made sure all of the pipes were insulated and boy was I glad I did two years ago when the big freeze hit the whole middle section of the country!I found these faucet covers to use this past season during the freezes that we had. They were easy to install, fit tightly to the skirting of my mobile home and kept the faucets from freezing.They are made of a material that is said to be oxford cloth--it is not cotton however, but a polyester type fabric that is waterproofed. It feels like it has poly fiber fill inside (like you would find in a quilt) sandwiched between two layers of the waterproof poly oxford material. I like that these are very easy to roll or fold up and fit in the little box in my hose reel so that I don't have to try to find room to store them like I do the hard foam ones.Overall, these performed perfectly last winter which was pretty darned cold with freezing or sub freezing temps several times and they are still in perfect condition for this next winter.I think the pricing on these is just okay but could be lower.

Easy to use and has kept things A-OK all winter when it got down to the teens several times. No freeze/burst so far!

I got these Outdoor Faucet Covers for Winter, Winter Freeze Protection 2 Pack, Garden Faucet Socks with Reflective Strips, Waterproof, Insulated Reusable Faucet Socks, W 7.1 X H 8.7 in, Black in recently and they work great.I had a set of this type of faucet covers last year that I used for the winter and they worked great. However I lost them storing them during the summer months so I needed a new set. These are a huge upgrade from the old styrofoam covers. These are so much easier to take on and off, they have a velcro strap that you tighten around the pipe. It’s super easy to use.Overall these keep my pipes from freezing and there so easy to use.I highly recommend these

We live in Washington DC metro area and we don’t get snow much but it gets quite cold at night.We do winterize our outdoor faucet but this will be perfect for double protection!Our outside faucet is not like the one shown on Amazon but this cover still work!It cover entire our faucet and look like our faucet is wearing winter coat. :)Highly recommend!!

We have lived here for 35 years and have not used covers for outside faucets. I didn't even know these existed. I ordered them as a precaution for freezing pipes. We have been lucky so far but why push our luck.

They are thick but covered very well

WARNING! Do not buy this product - it holds water and freezes which will crack your tap and the pipe. This product was suppose to help my tap not freeze - how can it help if it holds water and then freezes itself when the temps dip. Not good. I'm out $400 for a emergency plumber because my supposedly "protected" and "insulated" tap froze.
