very easy to grow, i would 100% recommend building a Gourd Tunnel from a bunch of Cattle Panels.
Luffas are super easy to grow and very prolific. once you buy 1 pack, you likely will never have to buy more again. my only warning is don't plant these vines near a tree as a few years ago, one of the vines sent a hidden little vine across the surface of the dirt just under the grass and went through the fence line and up into the Oak Tree in our neighbor's yard. the luffas then started forming about 50-70 feet up in the air and i was having to try and beat them down with a really long dowel rod while standing on a ladder... This however also scattered more seeds all over both of our yards and they were sprouting up all over the following year. lol!

Great so far
So I purchased this loofah to make for my store we went to some thing organic and of course I was always concerned about buying seeds off of Amazon. However, the reviews seem to be pretty decent and they came quickly. I felt like you didnโt get a lot of seeds for your money, but we were able to fill 36 cavities with two packages of seeds. We planted on February 15 and by the 28th. We had large sprouts as shown in the picture. There were only two seeds that did not germinate. Overall very satisfied with the growth and speed and the healthiness of the plant. People should know that a loofah is a very long growing season, so start them indoors if you can and grow them in your warm, season and harvest. Your research.

Love them
I wasn't sure they were going to grow, they started out very slow. Then took forever to flower but now they are in full producing mode. Just hoping they dry out enough before the first frost

A different variety than youโd expect.
This variety is actually quite spiky and hard to peel if you plan to make sponges!
