Backstory: I have a coworker who is always coming over to my desk and using the standard plastic garbage bin as a very unstable place to sit. I figured I might as well find something for him to sit on that I can easily store next to my desk.I saw products like this in videos and figured I would give it a shot. It's actually very impressive. It can hold a lot of weight, it's really sturdy and it collapses small enough to fit into my desk drawer. The stool also locks shut so it won't open accidentally. I have considered purchasing additional ones for my garage or car just to have on hand. I believe it was marketed for camping, but I would say there are many more uses for it (Maybe you have a craft where you need to be sitting for a while (electrician/plumber), or your want to go tailgating, or you have a coworker that needs to stop damaging garbage bins around the office).I would definitely recommend this product for others to purchase.

I love to skateboard, but due to the wear and tear on my body, I prefer to sit and rest more than before, and there's not always a good place to sit. A friend brought his stool and afterwards, several of us now have one. But, I paid more (just a couple of dollars more) that the others and got the hard plastic seat, while the others have a padded chair. I might just go ahead and order one for the wife with the padded seat cover and use it myself! Very convenient, fits easily into my bag that I use for my skateboard stuff, and very light and easy to set up. I would recommend for those who like to hike. The friend got it for his wife and himself because they enjoy "birding"--that's what he called it.

After six months of very moderate use, it collapsed while I was sitting on it. I weigh 225.

Broke within 3 days of using it. Very useful and convenient as long as you are very careful with it and ensure you keep your weight fully centered at all times.

This is pretty flimsy and it doesn't secure well, so when you sit on it, it can collapse onto itself. We used to put out a candy bowl, but I wouldn't sit on it. Wasted $$

Truly a phenomenal tool for on the go work I use it on production sets all the time and anyone who hasn't seen it before is always blown away. And others that know already own one, or I'd watch people buy some that day

I love this folding stool which I take to the tennis court. Convenient to carry because it's collapsible and has a strap; it's lightweight & height adjustable.

I can leave it unfolded, in a corner in the bathroom because it does not take up space. I use it to sit on and read books to my granddaughter while toilet training her.
