I use this for crumbs on the counter, especially around the toaster and the coffee grinder. Seems a little silly but honestly easier than constantly getting a cloth or a kitchen roll out. It’s really great for cleaning up unused flour when making dough as well. It has a magnet to keep the brush on the pan.

I got this to sweep up my lovebirds mess they throw out of their cage and it’s amazing, I love the feel of it like it feels strong, it’s a really good size and the pan doesn’t have the little lift at the front where the dirt goes under that does my head in but this doesn’t have it so it’s so easy to use. It collects everything you sweep not to mention it looks really good.

Review written : approximately one year of use. I really like the design of this dustpan and brush. The wooden brush is a lovely touch and feels much nicer than the usual plastic versions. I also like that the bristles don’t seem to collect dirt or become grubby, which is a big plus. Don’t be put off by the bristles looking a little different — if they get caught or bent, a quick rinse in water seems to help them return to their natural shape, which is another reason I’ve kept this brush rather than replacing it. I’ve given it three stars because the dustpan doesn’t always pick up fine dust and small debris easily. It can take quite a few sweeps to get everything into the pan, which can become a little frustrating. I’ve also noticed that when sweeping dirt into the pan, some of it can flick back out through the groove at the back where the brush slots into place. The groove is quite deep, so smaller particles can sometimes get trapped or escape rather than going straight into the pan. That said, I’ve been using this for quite a while now and I haven’t felt the need to replace it. It looks good, feels well made, and for everyday sweeping it does the job — it just needs a little more effectiveness when it comes to finer particles.
