Affordable and effective
I'm not a fan of over ear earmuffs as I find them uncomfortable. I typically just use foam earplugs and they work fine. Took a chance at these and I will say they are very comfortable, they insert into the ear easily, and they block sound great. The cord is nice as well, you can take them out and just hang them on your neck until you're ready to use them again. Great price and great quality!

Great, with limitations
These ear plugs are super handy. They rest around your neck and offer easy, quick access. I use them while working with dogs, inside. There are a few poochies that have piercing barks which can be painful...especially over 50yo and years of abuse to the ears. (90's grunge, lots of it... "live"!) These plugs block about 40% at most, basically the painful sounds. But definitely do not drown out the barking completely. I can still have an up-close conversation. Comfort: Yes, they are comfortable. But like most things, they take figuring out. It's likely that your ear canals are shaped differently on each side, so work with the flow, not against it. Follow? Serious work: shooting, machines of all types, construction, etc., these ear plugs will help in a pinch, but I wouldn't make a habit of it. I could see using these for a long day on the range under proper ear covers to be able to still have a conversation after removing primary covers while still maintaining secondary protection from errant sounds around you. Note: if you push them in to the limit they will block more decibels, but then they get uncomfortable. (no fear of getting them stuck with the built-in 'handle' :) And be careful with ear wax... I'm not a Dr, so all I can say is 'use your brain'.

Good value, meets my expectations
I volunteer with an organization that builds affordable housing. Of course, most of what they let the volunteers do is relatively non-precision work, preparing for the drywallers, electricians, plumbers, and hvac folks. Fortunately, we get to use power tools. But the downside of that is that nailguns, for example, are LOUD. And not only that, but they are LOUD! REPEATEDLY! The first time I helped out with nailing up furring strips (wood nailed into concrete block, so that the drywall can be screwed into wood, and to allow space for insulation) my ears were ringing extra loudly for the rest of the day. This was more than my regular tinnitus—it interfered with my hearing for hours. So, earplugs are necessary. The organization I volunteer with supplies foam disposable earplugs, which are fine, but inconvenient. These silicone plugs are a good fit, after some initial adjustment. They reduce the noise to a manageable level, without preventing hearing necessary sounds, like instructions or warnings. The braided lanyard is about 24 inches (say, about 60cm), which is long enough to loop through the back adjustment strap of my baseball cap and still reach my ears with enough play so that I can turn my head without dislodging the earplugs. Each pair comes in a sealed plastic bag, so I can keep a spare in my pocket. The silicone plug is attached to the lanyard with a friction-fit aglet (like on the end of a shoelace), so if I didn’t want to keep the string, I could remove it. I suppose that if the lanyard got caught in a power tool the lanyard would detach from the plug, even if the plug stayed in the ear, but I don’t think it is good practice to wedge the plug quite that tightly into the ear. This set of earplugs should last me a long time, unless the other volunteers keep asking for my spare. If I need more, I will buy another set or two of these.

Great product
It works great. I bought this item because my partner loves to fall asleep with the TV loud and he snores. I can't hear a thing when I put this in my ears.

The best response many times is just a simple " They do the Job " exceptionally well. Arrived ahead of time, individually packed, can be cleaned, can be used with or without the string. Easy to carry unlike head muff type sets which do have their place, there are times when having a supply of hearing protection pieces is the way to go. Cost effective, take up no amount of space as far as inventory goes or when like i did use them for a sport shooting event giving each participant a set. Well done!

Plenty of them. well worth it. protecting your ears is actually important. You'll realize it after you use some loud machinery without it, and then when it shuts off, hear your ears ringing. very affordable, reusable, works as good as some other name brand ones i had before
