Q: How does this work? Can I place packets inside clothing storage bags touching clothes?

There should be directions on the package, but we always place them flat in the floor (in closets and under cupboards) without covering or crushing them. It's ok if clothes or shoes happen to touch them, but I think it's best if they aren't covered up by anything. If you use sealed clothing bags, silverfish should not be able to get in them. I put cedar balls in with my clothes though, just in case, to keep bugs and moths away. These packs do work well. Just change them out every few months.
