it works just a little bit of disturbing noise from the back ground.

This product isn't worth buying, it's not working, no matter what I try it still doesn't work

It works, there is a hum in the background, it might be my TV. I can't hear it unless there is no volume. So I'd tell you to try one. I wish it had more amplification. But I have hearing loss. Again, you should try one. They are just loud enought. . . just.

I bought this I don’t know what if it would work, but hope that he did, and it definitely worked for what I needed for able to adjust the volumes and get my home theater to play without the cable box

I was getting ready to throw out my headsets, but the amplifying knob really solve the problem and now my wireless headsets work with my TV

I got the converter about 2 or 3 months ago for my husbands bedroom TV. He is about 50% deaf so has the volume up high all the time. We got a nice but used TV and found out afterwards that there is only one Audio "out" connection and this converter was supposed to solve that problem, and it did for about a month. I had it hooked up to a blue-tooth transmitter to connect with a speaker. For some reason it began getting static and nothing I tried fixed it. I tried hooking it to different speakers, unplugged and plugged it back in, etc.. and just kept getting static.
