So you need to use a lot of soap for this? Or does it hold soap like a sponge or washcloth would?

It doesn’t lather well and the soap slides off the silicone if you use too much. They had the right idea for the product but it needs work.

Is it good for newborns?

We recommend our Bath Mitt for kiddos ages 2+ years (:

How do you clean the bath mitt?

Just rinse it in the shower or use mild soap and water. Hang to dry. It’s silicone so it dries very quickly. HOWEVER, I would say that it doesn’t lather very well with baby wash so you might end up going back to wash cloths anyway.

does this lather well?

I found if once you put the soap on it and rub it in a little so it gets between the silicone grooves, it up will lather just as a wash cloth or a sponge would.

Use it from newborn to toddlerhood

Friday Baby is always delivering on quality products at affordable prices. I was especially interested in this one since looking for a craddle cap silicone brush. I opted for the mitt as the appeal of using it through toddlerhood turns it into a long term investment. I love that the mitt is designed to be used by adult and children alike. I love that I won't have to deal with washcloths and that it can be stored directly on the shower wall. It looks durable and cute.

Works great!

I love using this when I give my baby a bath. It’s great for brushing off all the dead skin from his scalp. Plus it nicely spreads the soap im his hair.
