Is the gray a dark gray (charcoal) or light gray?

Sorry, I don't have the gray one. Mine is black and it is very black! I will say though, that I've had mine since Jan. 2017 and still love it!

Im looking for an extremely slow pour dish soap dispenser. Will this fit the bill?

Yes. However, I'm not sure how slow you need it. Squeezing is necessary if you want more than a dime size amount of soap.

When the soap dispenser is laying on its side does the soap dribble out of it? I need one that doesn’t leak when stored laying down

I love this little dispenser, but Yes it WILL leak if it’s not sitting upright.

How tall is this dispenser?

It's about 7 inches tall. I wish they could make one about 9 inches. But I do really like it!
