GOOD PATCHES!
These look soft and flimsy, but they are not! I used some of the very same ones a year ago, and the friend whose shirt I patched brought it over with holes all around the patches, but the patches were still holding very strong! I like how they have the holes around the edges - makes it very easy to sew them on. Kudos to these patches.

Good patches
Had a friend machine sew these on my sweater and they look nice. Need to be careful when cleaning the garment but they are holding up well.

Convenient and useful
They come with pre punched sewing holes. I saved an old woolen hunt shirt that gave out at the elbow. I used fabric glue underneath before sewing. I recommend that.

Sturdy and good spacing of holes for stitches.
My husband has a favorite shirt and wore the elbow out on one side. I sewed one on each elbow of the shirt and that shirt has been washed quite a bit. Those patches are still holding! I hand sewed each one twice around alternating the thread in the holes. The fabric is still in tact. Fingers crossed that I won't have to revise my review.

NOT real suede
My product was NOT real suede (but rather felt). If I wanted felt elbow patches, I'd buy a piece of felt at the craft shop and cut it myself at a price 90% lower than this product. Color is fine. Durability highly questionable; fabric is less than 1mm thick and I wouldn't expect it to stand up to real wear. There were pre-punched holes around the edges -- but WHY? A needle goes straight through felt with no problems! I will be returning this item soonest. Everything about it BUT THE MATERIAL ITSELF was as described.

Good product but wrong item
Somehow items are being mixed up, ordering suede, receiving leather. Happened twice already. Still need suede though 🙈

Excellent, but could be a bit thicker.
Very beautiful patches on organic colours, e.g. corduroy trousers and tweed jackets. Especially if you're an academic, they actually improve your look quite a bit. Certainly better than the patches available at my haberdasher's. Could maybe be a bit thicker though.
