CC ONLY RH-25 Rabbit Hutch 2-Story

Bought this for our two buns who live inside of our house. We liked the look of it and it fits the decor in the room we have it. It's roomy for both of them and easy to clean. However, I don't know why rabbit cages are made out of wood, when they love to chew on it! We had to reinforce most of the inside with metal, so they won't chew all the edges, especially the doors. Will probably need to be replaced in a year or two.

1st rabbit hutch I have bought so here it goes.Pros: Nice 2 story design, decorative and looks nice inside for which it was bought. Very functional and provides a lot of room for 1 active rabbit. Took approx. 1 hour to put together, directions not the best in the world but adequate. Pull out trays are nice benefit.Cons: Made of soft, very nice chewable wood for rabbit, as one review already stated, I had to put metal flanges around all doors on the inside as my rabbit almost chewed his way out within the first week. No inner wire mesh for rabbit to walk on. Drawers, while nice, are flimsy once removed and have to be pulled out evenly or it hangs up making the bottom drawer hard to remove. Bottom sides of cage have open wire side as shown, looks nice, but when my lil bunny starts hopping around and playing, most of the wood chips and other stuff ends up on the outside of the cage. Fixed with putting 5 inch tall metal guard on outside on both sides. Bc of the two story design, most of the stuff I put on the second floor ends up on the first floor by cage cleaning time making that bottom shelf even harder to get out, and if you use wood chips like me, then it just pushes the excess on the floor when you pull the shelf out.Over all, nice cage after metal placed on doors and sides but probably would buy something else next time.

Worst design for a rabbit hutch ever. I could go on for days with the flaws of this thing. Crappy, lightweight, unsealed, unfinished wood construction. No instructions for putting it together, just a barely legible diagram. Took a lot of sanding/trimming in places for the "pullout pans" to even go in, now they do, but not easily. Don't think that you're getting a "drop-pan" where the animal actually walks on a wire mesh and the feces drop into a convenient pullout "drop-pan"- it's not. It's merely a plastic bottomed slideout tray- that's where the animal walks, not on a mesh above it, so the animal is still walking around right in it's feces. Barely any places to clip water bottles, food hoppers, etc. Misplaced drill holes, chemical smell...need I go on?I'm pretty sure this isn't actually a rabbit hutch at all, it's a chicken coop. Nothing made for a rabbit cage fits in this thing, there's no standardization with the commonly sold rabbit accessories. Thing is loud as hell when the rabbit runs around on the plastic pans.And all this for the low, low price of $270?! What a deal!I was fortunate enough to have to buy two of these horrors since the shipper didn't require a signature at delivery and the first one was stolen from my doorstep!Do yourself a favor- When you think about purchasing this nearly $300 waste of money and time, instead, grab a hammer and take a good swing at your own head. It'll be painless compared to dealing with this wreck- and much cheaper.Bottom line- This thing SUCKS. It just sucks so bad. You can do better.

This is a great indoor hutch. I like it! The wood is very soft so my rabbit took no time in making her marks all over it. Good for a decorative hutch

Would recommend two people to build, great product.

We're using this indoors for 2 fat bunnies. Although the ramp was not very sturdy, the bunnies have very much enjoyed the space, and it's working well for our space...
