Yellow be gone
I’ve tried other brands, and this is by far the best product for getting rid of mustard algae. Read the directions and follow every step—it works every time. Don’t take any shortcuts, and make sure you use chlorine, either liquid chlorine or shock. I’ve had success with both. Within 24 hours, my pool water is sparkling clean and blue again!

It works, follow the directions to a T.
(First photo is after and second is before) IT WORKS! Nothing else worked but this, you MUST follow directions as it does work. There’s a perfect amount in there to have some left over so it’s worth it for the cost if your pool is not huge. It dissolved into the water and mixed in perfectly. I bought this for my sisters 18’ x 52” pool, we used 1/3rd of the bottle, one pack of powdered chlorine and half a bottle of liquid shock, and after 12 hours we put in more liquid shock with another bag of powdered chlorine.

Finding this online
I am happy to see that I can order this online.I can no longer find it in stores.It works very well in my pool.It gets all that little algae up and out of the pool

Works but not all the way
Did it per instructions but did not get all the algae out. Not sure if its user error or some strong yellow aglea

Worked great but requires lots of shock treatment
I followed instructions as suggested on bottle which required three rounds of pool shock. The water is now super clear and blue. I’m not sure the yellow out did the job or all the shock but it worked regardless. The pool looks the best it has in a long time. I’ve included before and after pics.

Doesn't work anymore
I used this years ago and it worked great. It almost looked like my pool was acid washed the next morning. It doesn't do anything anymore. I did use powdered chlorine back then. Anyhow, followed directions, made sure CYA and Ph were perfect. Perhaps the liquid chlorine is the culprit? I used an initial dose of 6 gal liq chlorine on my 20k pool and 3 pounds YO. The next morning the chlorine was gone but the yellow remained. Dosed chlorine 2 more times per directions...no change. Its a waste of money now.

Great product! Add when your pool has that greenish tint it is blue again in 12 hours.

Most important thing to know is that it works for our pool while chlorine alone did not.
