Great Invention
No more slipping shower curtain rods. The supports hold the shower curtain rods in place. Love them.

5 stars for functionality
After removing wallpaper and painting my bathroom, I realized that the wallpaper's one advantage was that it was a more durable surface for the shower curtain to push against. I tried to scoot the shower rod after it was in place, and my fresh paint peeled away with it, ugh. After repainting the area, I tried felt pads on the ends of the rod, but they kept popping off, and the curtain rod would fall. Although I don't super-love the look, the functionality of this product has won me over. Because there is a lip for the curtain rod to rest upon, and the support also rests against the top of the shower insert, the stress of the shower rod is distributed (vs. the rod solely relying on the tension against the wall and gravity pulling). I've had them in place for a few days, and so far, so good! Fingers crossed that they won't stick to the painted wall over time.I do think it needs about an inch more height (or maybe in the future they could offer varying heights). My curtains are not touching the floor, but only barely. I also think it would be better to move the lip that the rod rests on a little more to the center. And as far as me not loving the look - I mean, really... if there is a better way to design it looks-wise, I can't think of it. So, it's the best it can look and still get the functionality it provides, in my opinion. I am satisfied.

Bathroom renovation
Just what we needed to finish off a bathroom renovation. It's the details that count.

Could be easier....
A little hard to install by one person. They need some clear adhesive on them. You have to get the rod on them with tension quite quickly and in my small shower in doing this they kept falling down and one fell hard enough and chipped a corner. I also think a variation without the protrusion on the bottom would be nice as my shower is a stall shower not a tub shower combo.Once you can get the placed where you need them they seem to work fine. We just painted the shower walls above the tile and wanted to protect the paint, as our tension rods over the years did rub it off and we’re hoping these guards will prevent that now.

Problem solver
It works great. I added picture hanging removable stickons and was then able to do it by myself and they won't fall off.

Nifty twist take on a helpful, if boring, product
Clever take on a simple product. The typical design for this type of thing is a support that you screw into your wall. For several reasons, I didn't want that. With that type of support, at some point in the future you'll end up needing to painting around it (and it will look like you did), take them back out of the wall to replace later with then-loosened holes, etc....Then I stumbled upon this. This product solves all those problems. It does the main thing I wanted, supports the rod with no drilling. First product I've seen to do that. Do I wish two small pieces of acrylic didn't cost 20 bucks? Of course. But when you design something unique you get to charge a premium. That's how the world works, folks. I purchased one to test out and, since it worked as I hoped, I placed a second order for anther bathroom. Good product.
