It is a fun and very different item to have. It works extremely well and I have shown this item in many demonstrations about magnetic levitation and the relative strengths of two fundamental forces, magnetism and gravity. Kids love these demonstrations and it gets them interested in science. In general, everyone has been impressed with the device. Now, be patient with the balancing of the disk and use both hands so as to avoid unnecessary hits between the disk and the base unit. Make sure to use the provided cork base. This takes a little practice and patience but it becomes easier with time. All in all, you will not be disappointed. Everybody who has seen it at my house has loved it. Have fun!

THIS ITEM IS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY SINCE THE POWER CORD CHINESE MAKE IS LOW QUALITY & THE CONNECTION IS LOOSE BECAUSE OF WHICH THE LEVITATING BASE ELECTRO MAGNET RECEIVES ERRANT POWER SUPPLY & THE LEVITATION DISC CANNOT FLOAT IN THE CENTER. ALSO SINCE THEIR IS NO POWER INDICATOR LIGHT ON THE BASE, ONE CANNOT JUDGE IF THE DEVICE IS PROPERLY ON OR OFF. SUCH COSTLY ELECTRONIC SHOW PIECES SHOULD HAVE GOOD QUALITY FAIL SAFE POWER CONNECTORS & INDICATORS.

Have purchased and use four of these levitation devices and they've all worked perfectly. Craftsmanship and quality are outstanding and have never been an issue. Be patient trying to center the magnet disc - it can seem tricky at first but, if you don't get in a hurry you'll find that it isn't difficult at all. I use them for Halloween and Christmas decorations along with lots of other uses. Friends think they're the coolest thing. If you're looking for a unique way to display something, this is the perfect way to do it.

This works just as advertised. Met all of my expectations and customer service answered all my questions promptly via email. Will definitely buy another one for my office.

Plugged device in and it’s impossible to know if it is working. None of our family of five could get it to levitate. It almost did a couple of times but it wouldn’t stay. We took it to a family function and none of 20 people could get it to work either. The device should be a carnival game and maybe someone could win the big prize of getting it to levitate out of 300000 tries.

Bought it a month or two ago and It's been levitating my things ever since. I like the color of the base, the cork assistant, and that it's super quiet. It makes no noise.

After ten minutes of hopelessly trying to center the magnetic disc I boxed it up for a refund. Knowing the positioning is very critical the company provides a cork centering guide but the disc always pulled to the base on one side of or the other, I was very disappointed.
