Purchased this tube as a replacement for the original tube ...
Purchased this tube as a replacement for the original tube for the sole purchase of allowing a smoother linear increase in volume of my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe (lots of info on the Internet regarding this issue). Using this tube accomplished that however it was very difficult to seat the tube in the socket. The pins on this tube have a larger circumference than the original tube requiring a lot of pressure to get the tube to fully seat. I was concerned that I would break the tube. If not for that problem I would have given this product 5 stars.
