Aleppo Pepper By Penzeys Spices 1.9 oz 1/2 cup jar (Pack of 1)

Recommended by a very good Friend who is also an excellent cook. She didn’t steer me wrong. This is the spice I will continually use great flavor with a little kick.

I've never eaten this pepper before so I have nothing to compare it to. I 'tasted' some from the bag I ordered and I CAN say it doesn't taste like something that would be considered "stale". Pleasant heat and good color. Will be good for the recipe I have.

Love this spice! I found out about it in a magazine article that said if you ever wonder what is missing in a recipe try Aleppo. My husband never heard of it and now he uses it all the time, including scrambled eggs. Great service and shipped in a nice box which even included a sample of Oregano.

Good stuff, love cooking with it. Great on fish, steak, burgers, chicken - it just adds a little more flavor with a slight nibble. Mild, sweet flavor
