I enjoyed the opportunity to get to try out Silk'e products in the travel sizes, meaning I got the experience with convenience instead of commitment. And they are quality products! Having gone from brunette to blond, my hair is always thirsty, and these samples left my hair satisfied. Softening and hydrating, especially the serum.

This Silk'e travel/try me kit is quite good. The shampoo is a clarifying one so I only would use it weekly to get rid of the residue left by styling products and environmental junk. Depending on how much stuff I use on my hair, I can go a couple of weeks without using this shampoo to ungunk it. It does a good job of getting rid of all the stuff that regular shampoos leave behind. My hair is color treated so I can't use the shampoo more often or it will strip the color and dry my hair out. The conditioner is really good. It adds back the hydration that I lose when I use the shampoo. My hair feels soft and not brittle after using it. The mask and serum are both effective. I like the serum a lot. It is not too heavy and doesn't weight my hair down but gives my hair a nice sheen and fuses the split ends so they look smoother. I am definitely going to buy more of that. The bag can be used for other products or cosmetics when the products are gone.This a great way to try the Silk'e brand of hair care products and great to carry when traveling. It would be even better if they added a hydrating shampoo for daily use when traveling as well as the clarifying one but I feel the brand is very good and the kit is worth the cost. There is plenty of product to allow you to know if you want to buy and use larger sizes.

I've never tried Silk'e products so this was a great set to test out everything from the shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, and serum, without having to spend a fortune getting the full size of all the items. I thought this price is quite reasonable, especially when it comes with a see through zippered pouch. The see through pouch is especially great for travel because if it is in your carry on luggage, the contents can be easily seen when going through security.The products have a nice signature scent to it and made my hair smell really nice after I washed and blow dried it. I would say my favorite item in this set is the hair mask, because my hair often needs deep moisture. The conditioner is good too but the hair mask is even better. I liked the shampoo too as it made my hair feel clean and light afterwards, no weighing down feeling or any residue afterwards. I wanted to add that the shampoo is a clarifying shampoo (citric acid) so they do say not to use it daily with colored hair. Overall I had a great experience with this set of haircare products and now that it's been tested and approved by me, I've set it aside so I can take it with me for vacation and weekend getaways. There's nothing worse than bringing a new set of haircare products with you on vacation only to find out it totally flattens or makes your hair oilier!
