It seems to help my pains but so disappointed the USB cord broke so easy and my friend ordered one too and her USB cord quit working in a few days. They need better USB cords. It still works on the wall plug. I will review again a few months. I sent the first one back because of the USB cord. I have a replacement now. Hope this cord doesn't break. As far as the infared working, it seems to. I hurt my back and I used it for 3 days and my back is so much better. I'm also using it on my belly in hopes to loose that stubborn fat. I added another star because I really like it and would give it 5 if the new USB cord doesn't break again.

Thebelt that I have being used for almost two years quitted working several weeks ago. According to the size of my old belt, I ordered this product, which is very comfortable yet nearly $40 less expensive than the old belt. During the past ten days, I have been using this new belt for two hours every day, and my body pain in the waist and neck has been tremendously relieved. The additional beauty is, I can use the belt even when working out in the gym!After witnessing its great outcomes, my mother and my daughter started using the belt as well. My mom has suffered from knee pain due to rheumatoid arthritis. She wrapped the belt around her knee joint for one hour daily, and the swelling and pain have been improved over the past week. My daughter wears the belt every day especially when exercising. Her main goal is to use the belt to speed up metabolism so that to help further toning up her body.From our observation so far, this new belt is better than my old one in many aspects: how easy to use,the value for money, the effect of pain relief, and the body areas where it can be used. One thought: although the belt can be used in almost any body area, I would highly suggest the manufacturer to consider designing belts specifically for shoulders and knees. In particular, my mom’s knee joint situation has been significantly improved. Swelling has been greatly reduced along with much less pain in the joints. It turned out to be a very good decision.After using the device for only less than one week, I was so pleased to realize that the body pain, which has bothered me for a long time, has already been significantly relieved, greatly improving the quality of my life! I am thrilled on the magic brought by the device, thus highly recommending it to anyone who has long-term body pain like me.This product has excellent quality in almost all aspects. The pad is very wide and pretty comfy (warm enough but not hot), yet lightweight. The Velcro is quite strong and holds up very well. After connecting to the power via either the wall plug or the USB, the device will be in the “OFF” position. A single click on the power button will turn it on. The power level and the timing can be easily changed by the “+/-” buttons and the time button, respectively.It’s very straightforward to apply the pad into many different body areas (I showed the back, belly, and knees in my videos). If I use the wall plug, I will have a range of about 8-10 feet to walk around. If I need an even larger range, I can connect the included USB cable to a power bank, sliding it into the built-in pocket on the belt, which is big enough, yet still tight, to hold one power bank plus the tucked cable, so the whole device looks very neat --- no dangling cables in my way and now I have a portable red light therapy device! I think this terrific feature is really cool and quite convenient.Plan to continue using the device on a daily basis, and will update my review after a few months.
