Has anyone used these as a painting stencil, to make a lace design? Did it turn out well?

I have not tried to use this as a stencil. It seems to me that it is not sturdy enough to use as a stencil. It may be okay to use with an air brush to get your lace design.

What color are these?

They are white. I guess the computer can make them look little gray, but they are truly white.

What are the different size ie. 1, 2, 3?

Sorry, I am not sure. A common small size is 10 cm or 4" in diameter. The package should say what the diameter of the doilies is.
