Game changer
I love this so much! I tried the GABA Red and just placed an order to try GABA Gold. I want to try them all! Ok, so the first sip I took was warm and neat. I did not like the initial taste. I found it very herbal. But as the taste evolved, I found I was interested in trying some more. I wasn’t sure what kind of mixer to use, but I have a lot of tonic water on hand, so I tried that, over ice. It’s my new favorite! It’s not sweet, at all. So lemonade would be the best mixer if you want it sweeter, imo. I’m not a big drinker, but I was noticing that the frequency of my “one glass of wine” every so often, was shifting to almost every night. I didn’t want that. I am delighted to say I find this beverage is easily replacing my one glass of wine! No, there is no buzz. You won’t feel it in your body. But what it does is subtly shift my energy into a more relaxed state where I don’t even think about wanting to pour myself a glass of wine. It’s like I just forget. So, I’m happy with that. And like I said, I want to try all of these. What is absolutely sad about it, is the price. It really stings. The bottle did not last that long, even with a reasonably meager pour. Hopefully the cost can come down, without compromising the product. It’s really excellent.

Disappointing
I'll start by saying we are all different so my experience with this drink might not be yours. Taste - hard to explain as I've not tasted anything like it before, sort of medicinal, botanical, quite rich, I mixed it with lemonade, I quite liked the taste, had a depth to it. Mimic alcohol - I felt no affects at all with it, it definately didn't mimic the effects of alcohol, not at all, did it relax me? The first time I tried it I thought it did but I think I wanted it to relax me, subsequent times it had no effect at all on me, no warm fuzzy alcohol feeling, didn't effect my mood or my brain. Overall - I wouldn't have it again, if it was a lot cheaper and I mean a lot cheaper, I would buy it as I quite liked the taste but for what it promises - to mimic the effects of alcohol - I would not buy this again.

An effective and pleasant way way to cut back your alcohol intake
I've been drinking Sentia Red for several months now. It took some getting used to as I wasn't sure about the taste at first. Previously, I used to drink wine every day. Not a lot, typically just one glass to relax at the end of a long work day. It was a daily pleasure. When I went for a health check-up, my GP said that I was in good health but I should try to give my liver a rest by having three non-alcohol days a week. So I started drinking Sentia. It definitely needs a mixer. I experimented with lots of different ones. I think the mixers that are orangy and spicey taste best with it. It also tastes good mixed with some ready made canned mocktails although some are a little sweet for my tastes. I add ice and sometime pomegranate seeds. I now really enjoy my Sentia cocktails on my non-alcohol days. It is very calming as a drink. I always use Sentia Red as Sentia Black peps you up rather than relaxes you. I've tried other drinks that are designed to have a calming effect but none of them work for me as well as Sentia. I am really happy that I discovered Sentia.

helpful alternative to alcohol
I've decided to quit alcohol for a while if not permanently so was looking for some other options and was interested that this drink was supposed to have some of the effects of alcohol without the alcohol! It doesn't obviously deliver the same kick but I think it makes one feel relaxed and sleepy. I personally like the taste - quite earthy and distinctive, not at all sweet. I mix it with ginger ale and find it makes a satisfying longer pre-dinner evening drink. But it is quite expensive and owing to delivery or production issues I waited weeks and weeks for the bottle (probably not the case now).

Not worth it
Doesn’t really do anything. Tastes ok. Expensive for what it is.

Waiting for the train that never comes
I have tried both gaba black & red, like the taste of the gaba black, red not so much, firstly there is no tipsy feeling, how the company can claim this I don't know so if you are trying sentia for this reason, forget it, there is absolutely no feeling what so ever with either red or black gaba, conclusion.. It's a very expensive bottle of OK tasting fluid, such a shame, buy a bottle & try it & see for yourself, I could probably mimic the taste of gaba black with dandy lion & burdock with lime & save £35, the postage also bumps the price up

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I was dubious about spending what I see as quite a lot of money on something that could turn out to be some hocus pocus magical promising, vitamin filled disappointment. I gave it a whiz last night, mixed with some juice and knocked one back. No real effect so I did 2 more. Not like enjoying a nice glass of Chard at all but the taste was fruityish with a bit of a powdery sort of taste so stopped after the 3rd. Got me head down and ready for my normal insomniac night of hell. I dozed off at about 1am (very early for an insomniac like me) and was woken with a start at 6am cos one of me pictures fell off the wall and made a very loud bang! I had my first nights sleep (minus horrid zombie sleepers) since August last year! I am bouncing! I feel brand new today and can honestly say, it might not get you swinging from the chandeliers but, bugger me, sleep deprivation is evil and will deffo be having another bash tonight!

I’m addicted!
Definitely an unusual taste, completely different from anything else I’ve ever tried. My first sip of this with tonic was quite a surprise, a bit like adjusting to one of those sour sherbet sweets! But it didn’t take long for me to decide I love it. I definitely get the ‘buzz’. I would say it’s a ‘relax in front of the Tv’ buzz, not a replacement for crying laughing with your friends or dancing all night alcohol buzz. I have since tried the black which I also like and the taste reminds me of dandelion and burdock when mixed with coke. My only negative (apart from the very high price) is the label states that the product contains liquorice and that people with hypertension should avoid excessive consumption. I don’t think this information is clearly stated before purchase. Will definitely not be able to resist buying more though.

Good Alternative to Alcohol
This is an interesting product. I think it could kick off a lot of different brands seeking to capture the market of people who want to be social but not get inebriated. The product arrived well packed and undamaged. I read the label and saw that the serving size was .87 of an ounce, so I measured it out and added it to a fruit flavored, zero calorie drink. I noticed a spicy background taste of the herbs in the product. A pleasant taste. I don't think I would drink it straight. The effect was mild but noticeable. I felt relaxed. I could see this as a way to unwind after a tough day at the office. I think it does what is says it does without alcohol, which is the whole point. I haven't tried the other flavors yet but may do so. The product is a good alternative to alcohol at social gatherings or alone to relax.

Felt nothing
I tried two different versions. Black and Red. I had no issues with the flavors although they were not something I could imagine developing a craving for. Mix ‘em with some ginger beer or whatever you like and they are not vile nor exciting. Feel/effects? This is where the product disappoints. I was unable to detect *any* change at all. So it was. $40 bottle of slightly odd tasting fruit juice. Add the fact that the black version seemed to have some odd looking sludge/residue that stuck to the bottle inside and wasn’t visible right away until I poured enough of it out. It didn’t seem to be a contaminant just some dried juice? lol Everyone’s chemistry is different but this was not for me. I have tried other products that make similar claims and enjoyed them. Maybe when the magic molecule is approved I’ll give it another whirl. Great concept, just no delivery for me. The order sat in the Amazon queue for about 2 months before it shipped.

Unique flavor, great social drink alternative
Wow! I am extremely shocked at how much I enjoy this. I put approximately 2 shots of this in with some Seagrams zero sugar ginger ale. I poured it over fake ice ( I hate watered down beverages.) It’s relaxing and refreshing. There’s not a huge “buzz”, if you’re expecting that you’ll be disappointed. But if you want something relaxing, this is great. I tasted it by itself, and it wasn’t terrible, but it’s not something that I would want to drink alone, I don’t think. The flavor is good enough I think I would like it with just soda water. It’s got a little bit of a bite to it, especially with the ginger ale, which is nice. Love this, I got the bitter berry, and I’m looking forward to trying the others. Even if I’m not crazy about the others, I really, really like this. It also doesn’t make me tired. It’s just a nice relaxing chill. I didn’t know if I should believe the other reviews, but I am really liking this. It does have a very different flavor, not really like anything else I’ve tasted, but it’s great.

No discernible effect - but the taste is fine
Sentia GABA drinks are marketed as giving you that “two drink” feeling without any alcohol (or the unpleasant side effects thereof). I did not expect it to perfectly imitate the sensation of having a glass of wine or two, but I did expect *some* sensation - and there was none. While GABA red doesn’t taste particularly bad (tart cherry mixed with potpourri would be my description) it has no discernible physical or mental sensation. In short, this is just an expensive, wonky-tasting herbal tea.
