AirGo Products Cooling Gel Memory Foam Lumbar Cushion

The product (AirGo Cooling Gel Memory Foam Lumbar Cushion) works great and is of great help to my sciatica problem. The only negative I had for the product was the effort and care it took to insert the cushion into the web covering opening which seemed small. You have to be careful not to damage the web covering or the zipper when squeezing the cushion into the opening. Once combined, the cushion and the web covering are very comfortable and work nicely with the AirGo Seat Cushion.Originally, the wrong product (an AirGo Seat Cushion) was delivered instead of the ordered product. However, AirGo went out of their way to resolve the issue and make sure that I received the correct product as soon as possible as well as refunding my payment to apologize for the confusion. Their product support was about the best that I have seen. They contacted me immediately and kept in contact until the issue was resolved to my satisfaction.

Well, my quest of the perfect backrest continues. I'll give the company this, the density of the foam is great and the shape is great. The problem is that the base is just too thick unless your spine curves in six inches. It pushed your butt too far forward on the chair making the item useless for me. Now, I did try this on a low back, regular office chair. I did not try it in a car but the car is not where I need it.

One star off because it was supposed to ship with a second, mesh cover and didn't. However, the cushion itself is very nice. It provides the right amount of support at the small of my back and at my shoulder blades. It hugs my back just a little at the sides, adding to the support it offers. After my beloved boss sat in the same office chair for 40 yrs. and now pushes his walker a ft. at a time, and my pain pill popping neighbor just had another cortisone shot after sitting in her favored recliner for 10 yrs. and now my retirement 3 mos. ago into my own beloved swivel recliners quickly progressed from lower back pain to shooting hip pain when jogging, I had an epiphany - That most all senior back pain comes not from old age, but from poor posturing habituations. So I put a little pillow under my lower back to somewhat reduce the pain. I then decided to search Amazon's excellent review system and ordered this AirGo Products Lumbar Cushion last week. It immediately felt like a good reversal of my spine curvature! After 2 days of the new posturing I was convinced and ordered 2 more for my other similar chairs and can already feel a 90% pain disappearance! Amazing! I am now looking forward to a long and comfortable retirement for the cost of a couple posture correcting cushions!Thanks so much AirGo!

I got this to use in my car but it is way too bulky for the car. I actually do better using my memory foam pillow for long drives. But I use it in the arm chair I read in. I like that it is a little taller than other lumbar support pillows and that it comes with two covers. But I was disappointed it didn't work in the car.

I had two slight problems with this otherwise fine product. First, it did not ship with the extra cover, and second, it extends far up the small of my back, which I can feel because the padding at the top is still quite thick. I preferred another cushion I bought (and kept) that sat lower in just the lumbar region. This is for automobile use.

A few years ago, I hurt my back working as a CNA. Car seats without support cushions are rather painful.This one, while not perfect, works well without breaking the bank. I like the cooling gel part...it does cut down on some of the lower back-heat sink, but it still gets sweaty back there!

It did not include the "bonus mesh cover" mentioned in the product description. Otherwise, the cushion is well made and comfortable. Also be aware that the strap is not long enough to go around a recliner in the event you were planning on securing it to a recliner. The strap's length is adequate for a standard size desk chair or dinning room chair, for example.
