Great little car
This is a car like my wife's mother used to drive so i got it for my wife and she loves it BUT the trunk will not open, Everything else works. Would have given it a 5 star except for that. Anyway she just loves it & that's what counts! George

Looks even better in person!
I've been watching videos of Los Angeles in the 1940's, which is where I first saw one of these cars. I thought they looked amazing and wanted a die-cast model of one. I found this listing and HAD to buy one. Let me tell you that the pictures don't do this model justice. In the pics, it looks like the metallic flake in the paint is a little too chunky for a model of this size, but the pictures lie. It looks FANTASTIC in person!!! Both the car and the box it comes in were in perfect condition. I totally recommend this model for anyone who loves this car!

I am a Ford person, my daughter gave me a neon Ford sign for Christmas that I hung above a shelf. I needed some cars to sit on the shelf. My first car back in 1959 was a 49 Ford coupe just about the same color as this model. Brings back some good times. The model is super nice, I love it.

My Father first Car !!
My dad is in a nursing home!! And he is 97 years old. And for his birthday I wanted to get him Something that would be special! His first Car Was a 1949 Ford coupe!! Burgundy in color!! Just like this model!! He loved it!! Made his Day!

Ship them in a box not a package envelope
Needs better Packaging. the Box was destroyed and a see-through window was all scratched up . please put it in a box. Up date after having looked the car over the wheel base dont fit the body finder wells of car at all. the doors are misalined. The front bumper is twisted on passenger side. Overall the car junk. Where is quality control ???. very disappointed in quality of car.
