Turbosmart TS-0302-1002 e-Boost 40 PSI STREET Boost Controller

Needed this controller due to boost lost above 5500 rpm in my custom turbo RX8. Very easy install, controls user friendly. Works better than expected. now holding boost all the way to 9000rpm Highly recommend if loosing boost at high rpm or if your looking for a great boost control.

First one lasted all of about 4 seconds before quitting never to power up again. Thankfully amazon's return policy/service is good to deal with. Had to wait through the weekend to get the replacement, but it's working fine now. Have driven the car several times and no issues... must have just gotten a bad box as my experience with Turbosmart in the past has been good (not cheap crap). I bought this for the adjustable boost vs. RPM. Not very many EBC's still do this. Sure I could do it with my factory ECU (EVO 8 I switched to SD / tephra v7). The factory boost control works good.. but I wanted something I don't have to drag my laptop out to make a quick adjustment.

Twin turbo 6.2 truck. Best tuner in Az @AllOutTuning made this thing work like a beast. Clean and simple. Push of a button you go from 6PSI to 12.

Kinda complicated to setup, at first. Has a lot of nice features, and car feels like it comes up on boost quicker. Haven't tried the built-in "scramble" feature, to change from low boost to high boost at the push of a button, but I am looking forward to it, lol. Got a great price on this unit, from Hinson Motorsports, but don't feel the need to be emailed and bothered multiple times from them, about leaving a review...

Fully installed this controller, wiring and plumbing. Upon first startup I realized several of the lines on the digital display are burnt out so it makes reading settings and pressures VERY difficult. I’m still able to read boost on my regular boost gauge so once I got my pressures set (which again was very difficult as I would have to find a number I could actually read and count the clicks backwards or forwards depending on where i wanted it to be) it controlled the boost as it should. I would recommend powering the controller first and seeing if its junk or not before running everything else because there’s no way im pulling everything out of the truck to return it now.

This is about the lowest price you'll find for this unit. It's not as fancy as some of the newer units, but it works well, has all the features most people need, and comes with an impressive array of fittings and extra parts to adapt to your vehicle.

Works great. Easy to set. No complaints. U get what u pay for. No headaches. Just set and go.

NOT TO HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT, VERY HARD TO GET DAILED IN. AFTER GETTING THE GRAND NATIONAL TUNED IT'S STILL HARD TO GET IT SET UP.

I installed this on my JZX100 Chaser (stock turbo, fmic, 3 inch exhaust) in a couple hours with a buddy. Install was pretty straightforward, all I had to buy were some connectors for the wiring as the kit includes everything needed. Setup was also a piece of cake since I've programmed one of these before. Car is now running 11psi, up from the factory 8psi, and overall feels much stronger thru the mid range. I will admit the low end feels a little less torquey, however the noticeably better surge of power from 3-6k rpm is more than worth that. On and off boost response is just as good if not better. Seems to hold more boost for longer too. I like the simplicity of the unit and its clean look that is at home in any vehicle. I've got mine hidden by my left knee where I can see it if I glance down. I am not a fan of gauges and interior clutter.
