Wow! Two of these 36" crates fit perfectly in the back of my Lexus RX with room to spare, and they were great for transporting some cats over a long distance.One thing I did that really made life easy: I went to Home Depot and had them cut a couple of 1/8" plywood boards to use as floors. These pop right into place, and provide significant added stability over the canvas floor. This allowed us to carry the crates with the cats inside, and also provided a solid base to tape down a small litter box and water bowl. The fact that they open on the top made it simple to put multiple cats in without having the last one escape. Put both in the back of the RX and covered with a sheet. Car-hating-pshyco-cats actually loved it and slept though most of the trip. Highly recommended.

My family needed a safe option to travel with our dog ( one where she wouldnt jump from back seat to front seat and distract the driver, and to protect the leather seats). We found a metal crate however you had to make sure you aligned it properly or you scratch the sides of the trunk door. This crate is both big enough for our growing dog and with the angled corners it never scratches the interior of the car. My dog loves it as it has many doors/windows to open including the top window. Its super light, easy to tear down and set-up and has a nice side pocket for treats ;) or for poop bags... We drive a Lexus RX350 but im sure this fits many other similar trunks.The first picture is her being silly and getting into the crate on her own after we removed the crate to clean the car. The second picture is her watching dogs at the dog park after I parked. and the last picture is the first time we tested the crate for her size and comfort.

My dog had serious car anxiety coupled with puppy motion sickness. Anytime we would get in the car he would cry incessantly, drool enough to cover his body and my car, and either vomit or pee or both. I tried two different seat hammocks, window protectors, a trunk cover, a dog seat belt, a net to prevent him from trying to jump up front with me when he would inevitably break out of his seat belt... I tried a lot. I wish I had saved my money on those other products and bought this car crate earlier. My dog and I couldn't be happier. It's easy to set up, it fits beautifully in my trunk or the back seat. There are so many entry/exit zip doors that you can really put it on any flat surface in the car and get your dog safely in and out. He feels more secure, his motion sickness and car anxiety have greatly decreased, and I have the back seat of my car back!

This has saved me so much stress in the car. I’m sure my cats could says they same. I can fit a bed and a litter box in there...needless to say there is no more cat pee for me to clean up. It also doubles as an easy place to keep litter from scattering everywhere when you are traveling. I ended up using this as a litter box house, and it worked well for that too. Almost for got, I was able to fit this in the backseat of my 2014 Prius!

Fit perfectly in the back of my Lexus NX300H. Great for car travel because it kept my dogs hair from flying all over the car interior (didn't have to vacuum too much when we got home). It was light and easy to carry into the hotel room (didn't need to disassemble). Our last car trip was with a collapsible wire crate and this was 100% better. For reference, my dog is a 60 lb lab mix. Her head touched the top of the crate, but she spent most of the trip lying down.

Used this to transport my two cats to my new place a few hours away. We also spent the two nights prior in a motel, and one of them used it to hide out in. They didn't try to get out much, but what little clawing they did had no effect on the material. What I really like was that there was room for both cats, a furry to sleep on big enough for both, and room for a small litter box as well. It's also light enough, but awkward, to take them both to the vets in. (without the litter box). I boarded them for a week when I first moved, and the vet kept them in it till they could both calm down. This was an added benefit for them and the staff; they being all claws at the time. Took me five minutes to set up.

This crate is WAY better than we expected. Our 5 month old pup loves her new spot, but unfortunately we cant let her stay in it while we aren't in the house. We are afraid she will scratch at it when we leave and rip it, SO we kept it regardless and are going to use it for her when we go camping! We take a few trips a year so its absolutely perfect for that. So much room, (we got the large, she is a pit/lab/mountain cur mix for size comparison), it folds up so easily which makes it so easy to store it! As she gets older we will switch her from a hard shell crate back to this when we can trust her in it while we are gone...hopefully sooner than later because she will disappear in the house and that crate is where we find her!

Love it cause when travailing with my dog it protects my car when I have to leave my dog alone .
