Flexi Xtreme Tape Orange & Black Large 5m Retractable Dog Leash/Lead for Dogs up to 65kgs/143lbs

We've had our last Flexi since 2005! It still works fine. We replaced it for two reasons: 1. Our new 5 month old pup is pretty rambanctious and often forgets she's on lead and runs full tilt into the end of the lead. We really appreciate that bit of give in the elastic end. 2. The first one was starting to get a little lax in spring-loaded tape return. (Which is completely understandable after 17 years of daily use!) The laxity was fine with our slow-moving senior. The pup requires a quick return.The Large model looks pretty huge in the seller pictures. But it's neither too big nor too heavy. Fine for short or long walks.In total, I would recommend this for every dog owner except for those whose dog needs a really sharp control. An example is my buddy's dog. He's an 85# rescued pit mix (maybe with Dogo Argentino.) He's super sweet inside but a handful outside. He's getting better, but you really need to have total control over at all times. I wouldn't feel comfortable using this lead for him due to the "give" in the elastic leader.

We have a 62-pound Shepherd Pit Bull mix. She is a strong girl. This leash is the best we have for keeping her under control. It is our third Flexi leash, and they are worth every penny. The others are like Cadillacs.

Is pretty good, feels nice and strong, locking could be improved as seems to catch sometimes but overall good and would buy again.

I've had four extendable leads and my puppy has gone through them all apart from this one great lead thanks.

ottimo guinzaglio retrattile per il mio bambinone di 60 kg! un pochino pesante, ma molto robusto, qualità decisamente apprezzabile se hai un gran tiratore abituato ad annusare e curiosare ovunque. bello il colore arancio fluo, visibile al buio. ottimo il meccanismo di blocco/sblocco, perfettamente funzionante ed in grado di farci tenere costantemente sotto controllo i movimenti del bau. lui si sente come libero, perciò è felicissimo. io sono tranquilla, perché lo controllo e lo blocco se necessario. ne ho provati tanti, tutti distrutti in poco tempo... questo "resiste" ed ha davvvero un eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo. lo consiglio a tutti!!

Leider ist mir zweimal eine sehr gefährliche Situation passiert! Der Karabinerhaken der Leine hat sich eigenständig geöffnet und mein Hunf war frei! Zum Glück ist nichts passiert aber das darf nicht passieren und ich kann es mir auch überhaupt nicht erklären! Seitdem ist die Leine leider aussortiert!
