Parrot Bird Perch Table Top Stand Metal Wood 2 Steel Cups Play for Medium and Large Breeds 17.5" x 12.5" x 11"

Nice size for Amazon parrots & likely can fit a breed a bit larger. Not sure how well suited it will be for Macaws as those birds are pretty massive. Very sturdy & great quality. Super easy to clean, love the plastic tray for droppings. Everything washed off easily. The only things I would recommend to the seller are 1) fix the installment instructions, they’re a little confusing but nothing you can’t figure out. FYI there are two screws you’ll have to screw into the actual wood (there’s not a hole indicating this) in order to stabilize the top wood stick 2) the hook for the toy could poke someone’s eye out if you’re not careful. It shoots straight up. I bended mine down a bit (again, easy fix) but just FYI.

I am very pleased with how sturdy this stand is! It's a self-contained design. No mess! The sturdy design makes it easy to carry from the perch to take to a different room. .... Rufus's favorite hobby is tearing up cardboard. The toy hanger is perfect for stacking up Rufus's favorite "toys". ... Don't do what I did! Don't try to "save money" by making yourself a PVC play stand. PVC fittings are a lot more expensive than they should be, and the cost adds up quickly. This self-contained sturdy play perch is totally worth the money! **** Edited to add: I've had this stand for a few weeks now. Rufus really likes it! Sometimes he chooses it instead of being next to me! (as long as he's happy, i'm happy.... ) I have the stand on a table so that the bottom of the ladder is level with the arm of my Lazy Boy chair. I will take Rufus off the stand, and put him the chair arm, so I can pet him. When he decides he's had enough petting, he climbs up the ladder, stands on the perch on one leg, and takes a nap. **** I've read some reviews where people said it was hard to line up the screw holes on the different parts. Here's what worked for me. When I attached the two support bars to the two side frames, I didn't tighten up the machine screws all the way. That left a little wiggle room in the support bars. So, when I installed the part with the perch and the steps, I was able to turn the support bar a little bit to perfectly line up the screw holes in the two parts. After I screwed the bottom of the steps to the support bar, I finished tightening the screws connecting the support bars to the side frames. ...... This can be assembled by one person, but a helper would be handy. I assembled it with the sides leaning against a wall to support it. Otherwise, I was afraid I would bend the screw holes if a side frame tipped. Thanks for reading this far down!

I have to say I have a love/hate relationship with this perch. Pros: It's really sturdy & very easy to clean. My bird seems to have no problem hanging out on it. Cons: Directions weren't clear/accurate with the photos. I see why another reviewers base wasn't stable because they possibly screwed the final screws too tight. The first delivery the base came cracked, but Amazon just sent me a new one & it was fine. Also, as you can see in the photo my bird likes to climb the part where the toy is hung. Maybe that will stop when I finally hang something. Overall I feel it's a decent buy.

My African Grey loves this stand! She will use it contentedly for 1 to 3 hrs at a time hanging out with me in the kitchen. She likes the way the food bowls are set up on the stand, plays with the attached toy, likes the perch size, and climbs all over it. She can get down off of it when she wants to also. I did have a problem assembling it. The ladder didn't fit on correctly. I had to have someone lean heavy on the top bar to get it to reach the bottom of the stand so I could attach it. That causes the frame to not sit flat on the table, so I have to put a small piece of cardboard under 2 corners to jeep it from wobbling. It was an easy fix and we live the stand so I kept it at 5 stars anyway. Update 2/18/19 I bought a new cage for my Grey to hang out on in my kitchen. It came with a play top, but my grey didn't like getting up and down from the new playtop. I took it off, and placed this on top of the new cage. She LOVES this new set up! I also found I could hang an extra toy from each end by attaching a long zip tie around the dowel and hanging a toy on this where she can reach it when standing at the base of the stand. 😊

This stand is very helpful for having food & water bowls included and making cleaning up bird poop underneath the perch a lot easier with the slide out tray. Unfortunately, the ladder that comes with it is way too steep for my bird and he refuses to climb down it. That was a huge reason for buying it, so it's a disappointment. On top of that, he stands right over the ladder in the middle and poops right on top of it, and the poop gets in the cracks where it's impossible to clean. So I removed the ladder altogether. My husband is going to put screws in underneath to hook up a different ladder. Also the location of the food bowls isn't ideal, either. Birds don't prefer to eat sideways, they like to eat in front of their dish. I feel the bowls could have better placement. On top of that, since the large hook on the end that is meant to hang a toy is on an angle, my parrot just wants to climb it and attempt to stand on top of it, rather than hangout on the perch. This usually causes him to fall and flail around, so I removed that too. All in all, this was a great concept, with a poor execution.

I'll start off with the good parts. Ok then, moving on. First thing I noticed was the shipping box was perfect not a scratch or dented corner on it, then I opened it up to see a product box that looked like it'd been drop off my roof a couple times. Opened it up and saw all the wood was very rough and two of the steps had splits in them that made for some very sharp edges. I took them off cleaned them up and sanded them to be safe for my bird. After that I saw the holder for the bowls has to be bent to fit the bowls they came with, really annoying to have to do on something this expensive. Also they ship it with bolts in one of the bowl, so that bowl was all dented up. Sat back down to put it together and found out I didn't have all the parts!, missing the bars at the bottom to hold it together. On top of that the screw are very difficult to thread as the holes weren't cleaned out after the finish went on.

Very solid. Bought for my African Grey Timnah. I wanted a smaller style play area for my coffee table. This is a perfect size for that. He has a huge cage with full play area on top, but I wanted a place for him to perch closer to me when I'm watching TV. This is very solid, yet light enough for me to move easily. Simple & well made. Can switch items on either side. Tried it out last eve and he did great on it. Very happy with this purchase.

Gives you three different kinds of screws with unclear directions about what size screw goes where. I’ve included a picture of the directions. Once I figured it out, the set of screws meant to bind the food stands to the main bars didn’t even fit! I thought maybe I used the wrong screws since the instructions are unclear, but I was able to put the base together with no issue, so the only screws left were the four meant for the food stands. I was able to screw them in halfway, but they wouldn’t go any further, leaving the food stands to be wobbly. I’d be more understanding about them not fitting (maybe I got a faulty version of the product) but the directions were so vague about it that I’m overall frustrated with this product. At least the materials seem to be sturdy, but the tray didn’t exactly fit where it should and it ends up siting unevenly. I’m returning it.

Completely out of shape when assembled, had to put thick supports on two sides at the bottom in order for it to stay flat on the ground / table. Most of the threads in the metal parts are unusable, so it is impossible to fix the accessories. Anyway, even if the bowls could be fixed, they would be in a position where they could not sit flush on the metal bar, because the threads are positioned too close to the center, so the bowls wouldn't have enough space; and the screws are so soft that the slightest force from the screwdriver will instantly wear out the screw heads, making them unusable.

We've had this portable perch for a while now. Our parrot loves it, but loves being with us where ever we are in the house. We changed the screws to wing-nuts so that it is easier to change out the toys and adjust the dishes. Recommend this for anyone with a feathered friend!

Stand doesn’t sit flat and rocks side to side. I’ll have to put a towel under it. Also missing screws to secure parts. See image, bottom RH of the ladder is missing a screw.
