Did not work at first, but now it does!
To start--My truck sure didn't start at all once I replaced it--so, yes, I did get a defective one. So, buyer's beware. Still need to figure out how to get a replacement or my money back. Now working with the vendor...Update: Jan 09, 2018Swapped only the coil from the new sensor--Tested the truck--Works great!Bottom line: This item should be sold in two pieces: The coil and the plunger or the valve. It sure looks like my issue was just the coil.So far--so good. Great!BTW: The piece has a 1 year replacement warranty. But, because I kept the coil--I never returned it for a replacement.

Talking About Service
Replaced this item in January and the truck ran for a while for snow plowing and died just at the end of the snow season. Finally had someone come out in July and he hooked up his diagnostgic tool. He was a Ford dealership diesel mechanic for 16 years. He said this device was only showing 300psi and needs 500psi to start vehicle. He removed a few things to check for oil, ICP, PCM and such and determined this part is not working properly. I would have purchased an OEM, but at the time I was troubleshooting the issues via youtube and did not want to spend the money. You get what you pay for and this has cost me dearly.Moral of the story is if you are going to replace parts that are on your vehicle, buy quality. Why I am giving 3 stars is because even though this item has/had a 2 year warranty and I had to spend $125 for the mechanic to come out (he was kind), another 3 hours replacing the device, without my truck for months and spending another $46 to send the part back and purchase a true OEM part, is because of Kat; the owner.Kat gave me a great price on the OEM part after I said I did not want to put another of these IPRs back into my truck, per my mechanic. Kat offered to upgrade and stepped up to the plate to take care of me. Although I would never buy this IPR again, if I need a replacement for my 1995 Ford F250 7.3 Powerstroke, I will absolutely contact Kat to get an OEM price on a part.Anyway, I put the new part in and the truck started immediately. Hooaah. So, this part was a 1 star, Kat is 5 stars and so combined I gave 3. Thanks Kat.

Installed and truck ran a little better but problem still persist
Installed and truck ran a little better but problem still persist. I think it’s a bad unit. Not too happy about it considering it’s a hell of a hard part to get to and sometimes it’s fixed sometimes it’s not. I’ll now have to buy the motor craft

Do yourself a favor, Stick with OEM parts
I got a bad part. Couldn't make it run, ford has hadmy truck for over a month, burning up the batteries and a starter,"testing" it trying to figure out why it won't run. I'll never learn you get what you pay for. Poor quality
