I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the two minor flaws
3 months in and overall the belt is fantastic. My waist at the belly button is 32 inches and the belt is a size medium, and there is room to tighten it or loosen it. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the two minor flaws shown in my pictures. the tongue is separating slightly and the thread is coming undone in one spot. Aside from that it has held up great from 1-4 uses per week since I've owned it.6/5/2019 6-ish month update. The hole for the prong is starting to stretch a little bit so it's not as tight as it used to be. I've increased usage to a consistent 3-4 times per week, so take that into consideration. If you use it less it might not stretch as easily. Still 4/5 starsI use it primarily for squats and deadlifts, but I added d-rings on each side so I can also use it with my gymnastic "dream machine"

Perfect Power lifting belt
This an excellent belt for Power Lifters. Especially one thats 60 years old ...lol. And the only one with size ranges for Power Lifters. Well built . Some people are complaining about stiffness, must be cross fitters, when your repping 525 3 sets of five you don't want velvety softness. You want strong stiff support. Also if you want to personalize it like I did mine with a wood burner it looks good.

Warning - Quality Not As Pictured
I had tried on a friend's belt that he ordered from the same listing and it was great quality, supple leather almost like a catcher's mitt. I was hoping for the same quality, but I am very disappointed with the belt I received. The facing of the leather is low-quality, dry, and wrinkled almost to the point of cracking and I had only taken it out of the box. The color is also much different than the one in the listing. This one is a chocolate color and the listing shows a tan color. I don't know if quality control has been reduced over time but the listing doesn't reflect the product you will receive.

Outstanding Quality
PROS1. Outstanding leather build and quality2. Single Prong3. Excellent Buckle, thick-walled. One of the best buckles I have seen so far in powerlifting belts.4. Outstanding stitching, double-stitched around the perimeter.5. Strong belt loop, twice as stronger as other belts with similar prices.CONS1. No color options, other than brown.2. Nasty looking huge LOGO on the belt, just the name on the loop would have been enough.3. Rivets could have been of better quality. Update : My rivets were flat but the later models came with screw rivets I believe.4. No leather buckle guard on the belt.Outstanding quality and superior craftsmanship.ADVICE TO SELLER1. Include more color options in future editions. Add White, Blue or Red color options, that would increase sales.2. Include a leather buckle guard on the belt to prevent the clothes from being caught up on the buckle3. Remove the SS logo on the belt, just the name on the belt loop is enough. The logo looks nasty.

Honest Review
So far so sturdy. I was borderline medium/large at 5'7 180lbs from a dirty bulk. Went with the medium and been on the cut, so it barely fit on the most outer hole, now I'm on the 2nd hole from the widest. I love the smell. I tried reading a bunch of other amazon ones, and this one just came at the right price with the quality. I squat 3x a week (different variations other than straight deadlift/squat) and this helps.Update 5/1/19: From 5 stars to 2 stars. I gave it a 2 star for the cheap price for how long it last, but there are some issues. First, bought the belt 6/23/17 and so it's been less than 2 years on use of say 2-3 times per week for squats and deadlifts. I've added pictures to show where some breakdowns. Not sure if Steel Sweat will contact me since it's been 2 years, but I'd change stars if their customer service replaces the thing.Picture 1: There a sticker that came when the belt arrived, when I took off the sticker, it left this mark and it never went away, left that dark circle mark forever.Picture 2: On the 4th hole of the belt where I bend it the most when I am tightening it, it ended up cracking, I'm pointing at it. This makes it flimsy in this area and not solid anymore. The leather on the outside and inside did not break.Picture 3: Another angle of picture 2.Picture 4: Look like it bends on the belt with a little pressure, not solid anymore.Picture 5: Another angle of picture 4.

5 stars IFthe belt strap didn't pop, read details
Would have given this 5 stars but the belt strap actually popped on me as I was removing the belt. The rivet holding the strap together popped out is different then the other rivets used in the belt, fortunately the functionality of the belt was unaltered due to the other rivets being screwed in. I was able to repair the strap since but it shoud not of happened in the first place. 4 stars still becuase Iwas impressed by the belt already being broken in and the quality material.

So Far, so Great
I bought this over others on amazon cause I like that subtle logo and the brown leather look. The aesthetic is even better in person. It looks so nice, I'd wear it in public if I wouldn't look like a crazy person! Functionally, it seems to do the job. I've done squats, OHP, Rows & Deadlifts (all at varying positions of my core) and have felt great afterwards. Build quality seems great, and I don't foresee this belt going anywhere anytime soon. Thanks Steel Sweat!

So far so good
I’ve only used the belt a few times... so it’s a bit early for a fair review. So far... so good. The belt was fairly comfortable out of the box and didn’t really dig into my hips the way some other belts have. Hopefully it will continue to shape itself to my waist for an even more comfortable fit. The material seems very solid. The leather is layered and it’s not clear what the quality of the innermost part of the belt is. One reason that I chose this belt is that I prefer screws to rivets. I’ll give a more proper review in time

A decent belt and great value.
I give this 5 stars for value for money. I give 4 stars for comfort because (as with leather weightlifting belts) it needs a bit of breaking in to really get the pin into the right hole but these type of belts are not really meant to be "comfortable" because they are functional!Because they do need to be worn tight I find the single prong preferable over a double ever since I got a bit "stuck" in a double prong and had to have a bit of assistance by a fellow gym user to remove it, lol!As I have said, excellent value for money for a hefty piece of leather kit with good stitching, studs and a solid unseamed roller on the buckle.

Heavyweight, durable belt for Valsalva maneuver lifting.
Had this 10mm thick leather belt a couple of weeks so I have used it for two cycles of my workouts. As with most people training for strength, I work both belted and beltless movements on different days. The belt gives you something to "breathe against" before each rep. Take in a deep breath and tighten your abs against the belt before set up for deadlifts, squats and variations. This is an attractive looking belt that has the "no-nonsense" factor you want from "serious" gym gear. The leather looks to be of good quality with no flaws. Stitching is uniform and finished - no stringy bits to trim away or fray and the holes are cleanly cut all the way through. The tastefully understated logo is crisply embossed. A support belt for heavy lifting needs to be fairly rigid to do its job and this belt is exactly that. Belt comfort is not really a consideration whilst under a heavy bar - but the softer suede inner lining means that the belt itself isn't creasing on the inside to add to the "muscular grip" of the lift itself. The buckle and pin seem very strong - absolutely vital as you need to pull hard to tighten the belt around your midriff and get the pin into the right hole. The roller is a perfect seamless tube that rolls well and assists this process. If you are new to belts, they take a little practice, if not, then this design and manufacture should tick your boxes. Should last me years as long as I don't lose it. Looks even better now that it has a slight crease and some chalk on it. The more it gets used, the better I suspect it will look.

Looks great with cream satin shirt.
Tricky to fit in belt loops, but you can wear over the top. Girls at the line dancing club go mad for it.

Great belt, great value
This is my first weightlifting belt. It seems really well made and very sturdy. I was expecting it to be uncomfortable as other reviews said belts need to be broken in but I used this on my last 2 sets of 5 sets of 3 rep max and found such a difference! I definitely could have gone heavier with the aid of the belt. I'm thrilled! Communication with the sellers has been pleasant, delivery quick. Very happy to recommend this product!

Get what you pay for
Feels cheap. Looks cheap. Smells cheap. This is the thinnest, dryest leather in existence padded in the middle with cardboard. Do not expect this to last long. I may be wrong... I hope I'm wrong.
