I have a Mazda cx-50 with a platform roof with T slots. This had all the supplies I needed and took maybe 1 min to get all 4 screwed into platform. Holds my ocean kayak perfect!

You get what you pay for with these for sure. The hardware is definitely the cheapest they could get, the bolts cross thread ridiculously easy. The straps are all frayed(I bought 2 kits for 2 kayaks). The pins they rock on at the joints keep coming out to the point I’m not even sure they can be made safe to travel with. I drove 40 minutes each way today and when I got home 3 of the pins were so far out I’m not sure how they didn’t fall the rest of the way out.I will definitely be upgrading asap. These are not worth the risk.

This company is very easy to deal with. I ordered the saddles and it did not fit my roof racks because I measured wrong. I was able to modify it to make it fit and avoided sending it back. The company gave me a discount and everyone was happy. By the way the saddles are great.

I manufactured a double kayak rack on my van and installed 4 of these.. the "U" bolts do rust as reviewed by others, and I used a screw to help keep each in place.The plastic nut spinners break, or come off and are lost...these are not major issues due to mine are adjusted to "fit" my kayaks. I took a 7000 miles road trip last summer with these. I did use rachet straps to secure my kayaks on these saddles, instead of the straps that where included.

These are perfect for carrying a kayak

After the first thirty minutes of installing the saddles and driving down the road I nearly lost one because the retaining pin almost came out. I managed to use super glue to hold them because I was leaving the next morning on a trip and they worked well. But even now they are falling out even after using super glue. Very poor design.

the pins that hold the 'arms' on the brackets are falling out after just few uses. The caps that cover pins also falling out. Bad quality. Unless you intend to replace pins with screws/bolts don't buy.

Great product. Works as described. Good value for the price.

Fits nicely on Malone rack

バ－への取り付け蝶ネジが3個ほど、ボルトと蝶ネジ本体と分離して居た。

The pins that hold the saddles of the base are free-floating - there are no ends to secure them and they keep sliding out. I'll need to replace them all with nuts and bolts.
