199 Promises Of God (Value Books) Mass Market Paperback – August 1, 2007

I am a busy gal. I attend a School of Kingdom Ministry class. I belong to a women's leadership group and I attend a house group. All require reading. I love reading my bible but sometimes I just want to open something small and see what God has for me and that is when I turn to the 199 Promises of God. There are so many ways to use this little book. You can just have it in your purse or on your desk at work and turn to it when you need scripture to get thru a difficult moment. I like to look for a scripture reading in the book and then go to my bible and read more or if I am near a computer scan biblegateway and see what else I can find in conjunction with the simple sweet scripture I just found in my little book. IT is a small but powerful book that I highly recommend. It's simplicity will not only be instumental in your relationship with God, but whether you are just begininng your walk with him or even if you are deep within the layers of a full-blown relationship with our Maker, this book fits. Enjoy!

I love this book I have one for home and work need some daily encouragement to get through the day. ITS AMAZING how I randomly flip open to a page and its applies to exactly what I'm dealing with at that time. This doesn't replace reading the Bible but its great to read through out the day. We have such a ontime God that knows what you need when you need it

A great book to daily remind yourself with truths God has promised the righteous who love him in difficult times.

A neat little book of Gods Promises, make great little Gifts, liked it a lot.

This book can be used for multiple purposes . It can be used to study Bible verses and also for the purpose of meditation. . when one turns to any page in the book there are Scripture verses to encourage , uplift , guide and support . This is certainly refreshing and it certainly helps to make my day. I do recommend this book particularly if one likes to memorize Bible verses. It is worth storing in your library.

This is a collection of Bible Verses. Reminds me of when you want to hear something from God so you open the Bible to any page at random and point to a verse. You read it and that's your promis from God.This little book is okay, but anyone with Bible literacy wouldn't be greatly impressed. - The author's other "199" book is much better. In it you will find the author's own thoughts on scripture and prayer.

Give as gifts to those I share my faith with and those needing encouragement.
