Lavender & Cedarwood Thickening Shampoo for Thinning Hair, Thickening Products for Women & Men, Hair Growth Shampoo

I was reading the label while lying in bed and at one point I laid it down not realizing the cap was slightly open. I love the smell of this shampoo by the way. However, after about 30 minutes of smelling this, not knowing the lid was loose, I became suddenly extremely nauseated and dizzy. I also got a headache and my tongue began to tingle. I realized my face was about 2 feet away from a puddle of shampoo. After cleaning up the mess, it took about 16 hours for the nausea to go away. After doing some reading I learned that essential oils are highly concentrated and can become too much of a good thing. Aroma therapists need 200 hours of training before they can practice aroma therapy and the FDA doesn’t monitor what goes into our shampoo. Even those diffusers that we love so much should only be used for 1 hour, not consistently. And caution needs to be used around children and babies. There should be a warning on the bottle that this can be highly toxic to children and babies and sensitive adults.

I started using this shampoo early November 2021 and have seem significant reduction in hair loss. I have had some hair loss for many years off and on, but after having covid I was losing so much hair it was very concerning. This product along with the scalp treatment have slowed my hair loss dramatically. I really like the lavender and cedarwood scent. Only a small amount of the shampoo is needed to lathers up and clean well, even after using the oil scalp treatment. The combination leaves my hair and scalp feeling refreshed, clean and soft. Not only has my hair loss slowed significantly, my stylist commented recently that she sees lots of new growth. She asked what I was using so she could have her mother, who has hair loss, try it out. I will continue to use this product. My only request would be that it be available in a larger bottle for a bit better value.

I have thin hair and experienced hair loss after giving birth, so I tried all hair loss program by Botanical. I used shampoo every day and I really like how it cleaned my hair ( expessealy after treatment that I use 2-3 times a week). It has such a pleasant smell and even though it doesn't have sulfate it is easy to apply. So I bought another bottle and really impressed with new and improved formula. It seems more concentrative ,yet very light only hair.I have a highlights and purchased some " purple" shampoo to use it once and a while. It is such a big different from Botanical products in a bad way. Smell, texture , application is beyond compressing. I couldn't use this "purple sulfate" products anymore, because it dries scalp , hair and had a very strong chemical smell.Botanical shampoo has a great organic ingridients and I think that's made a big difference for me.I definitely recommend this shampoo for someone with thin hair.

Purchased a bottle due to my diminishing hairline and prior reviews of the product.At first I was a little hesitant of the price and the bottle being only 8.5oz. After using it a little over a week I was put at ease knowing how little is really needed to fully cover my head. I have short hair (probably about 4in in length) and use about a thumbnails worth (maybe a bit more) to lather my whole head and my beard. Very surprised so little goes a long way. I imagine this bottle will last me at least 3 months minimum.I have a sensitive scalp and many shampoos I have used in the past burn my head when left in for more than a couple minutes. Have not had that issue with this one. Can leave your hair a little on the dry side without a conditioner (probably why they recommend the shampoo and conditioner combo) but I put a couple of drops of Jojoba oil on my hair afterwords and it works wonders in tandem.The smell is wonderful. The cedar wood scent comes through most for me personally.I cant say much in regards to the effectiveness of the product yet because I've been using it for such a short time. When I finish the recommended amount of time of use before results start showing, will update this review reflecting my findings. So far so good.Personally, I'd recommend it to anybody who asks.

This shampoo is great for everyone! It has no sulfites, my head gets itchy with shampoos containing those ingredients. No itch! I do have hair loss, which is getting better, but I don't know if it is the shampoo in addition to doctor intervention (I'd give 5 star if I was positive that the shampoo was a factor) The lavender cedarwood fragrance is nice, and subtle. My hair is soft and has no residue (like some other non-sulfite shampoos have caused) Yes, it is a little pricey, but it lasts a long time because you don't need much. My hair is just past my shoulders and I use a nickel sized amount.
