What magic is this?
So this stuff may be magic. Canโt believe a box kit ate the blue green out of my hair and brought it to an inner (and outer in some stubborn spots) banana peel shade with just one application. I recommend using 2 boxes, my hair short but thick used both and I even then ran out because.. thicc. Still need to get it nice and saturated to really be effective imo. Maybe could have used one more as I noticed a space where I missed but had run out anyway. Left it on just a tad longer than suggested too, maybe 10 minutes more, risky but used a coconut mask after and no problem. Barely any breakage or damage! No serious. Do you know how hard it is to get green out? This is the only thing I used in my many years that got it out in one application. Crazy good! Great value. Great product. Went over it with a semi pastel color and it took perfect. Very bright in fact. Take away if youโve got a color that needs to come out like bad. Get more boxes than you think and use them all, get it super moist and saturated. Leave on extra time if confident. Get some type of mask for the after. Canโt speak to blonde girls or guys wanting to go lighter like the box but oh my gosh I wouldnโt be surprised if it worked for them too.

Love it, wish I had used it first
I used this a couple days after another bleach (which it says not to do btw so not recommending) bc I originally bleached with the intention of dyeing over it with fuchsia and didnโt super care how great it looked but ended up liking the lighter look and wanting to keep it. Obviously it went brassy. I used the wrong level it wasnโt meant for hair quite as dark as mine, unlike this one. Had I used this one first I think the brassiness wouldโve been much reduced maybe even not there at all. Thereโs still a tad bit of orange but I like it overall. Iโve always loved garnier products for dyeing, they smell so great and my always hair felt amazing after. This is my first time ever bleaching at home and I feel like the end result looks good. My hair never gets touched by heat and hasnโt been dyed or bleached for years so a double bleach within a week can be handled. I am deep conditioning and applying oil and it passed the sink or swim test so it doesnโt seem too affected but we shall see. Certainly no clumps falling out as some people on the internet like to say will happen, thank goodness

Not for the faint of heart, made my hair white babes
Great bleach get two boxes if you have longer or thicker hair. Check with your gloves on every now and again because you canโt see what color your hair is turning with the charcoal bleach on it. If you have previously dyed hair (like brown or red) get a purple toner or toner shampoo.. if you have previously bleached hair go easy if you use this cause it made my hair WHITE (which was awesome lol) also get some bond booster or something to that effect, it did make my hair pretty dry before I dyed it silvery blue then it got slightly softer.

DID NOT REALIZE PL1 WAS BLEACH LOL
so i usually use LB2, which doesn't come with a bleach product, it comes with an oil, developer and the highlift volume developer whereas PL1 is straight up bleach, developer, etc. I'm naturally a medium to dark blonde (leaning more towards medium) and my hair turned yellowy orange and i had to tone it with not only the purple conditioner it came with but also a mix of purple hair masks. so i probably won't use PL1, but i do recommend LB2 if you're a blonde of any kind but if you're a brunette, PL1 might be your best bet. I enjoy the platinum look but it's just not feasible to use if you're someone who dyes their hair every month like how i do.

Affordable, easy to use balayage effect with salon worthy results
Iโve been using Icing Swirl Balayage (BY1) for a few years now thanks to the pandemic & hair salon closing. This has been the easiest and safest option for my type hair and skill set. My highlights are not as intense/vibrant (?) as from the salon, but appear warm and more natural looking (also $70 cheaper). Itโs pretty straight forward to use, with easy to follow instructions. Everything you need is in the box so thereโs no extra expense. Think of this as hand painting your hair. You use the comb-like-brush to apply the mixture directly to the parts of hair YOU want highlighted. There is no cap, foil or crochet hook/needle to mess with. All that is needed is an old shirt or towel as protection against any drips (not mandatory but accidents do happen), a couple of hairclips (optional), a mirror, a timer (I use the one on my phone) and the kit. You can apply it sitting down or standing up, itโs all up to you. I start with a few strokes to frame my face, then apply randomly to the rest of my hair style (especially the back of my head), but it seems to look & works well whether my hair is down or pinned up. -Donโt overthink it AND donโt worry about using the whole bottle. I have short hair so an application for me is about half a bottle with the balance discarded. If this is your first time using color, this brand or product, do the skin allergy test first, just to be on the safe side. The Nutrisse Balayage is a healthier, safer technique to use since it is โhair colorโ vs โbleachโ that strips color, but it also depends on the condition of your hair and the level of lightness you want. This has been perfect for me, my hair and my budget. A hidden benefit is not needing to touch-up new hair growth as frequently as you would with regular color or โhighlightsโ due to the blended effect. Overall, this has been my best decision with regards to my own diy balayage treatment. It works with my schedule, takes less time to do, is less damaging on my hair, and itโs definitely a low cost option that gives me salon worthy results. *I do recommend an extra moisturizer or deep conditioner for between treatments. Otherwise, itโs a great DIY home option. P.S. Product line is also vegan and cruelty free.

Gentle and effective
My natural color is dark brown. My hair had been pre-lightened and had residual blue direct deposit dye in it. I started with my roots and did a lazy finger balayage on my mids and ends. I've been babying my hair between lightening sessions but fructise always makes my hair feel soft and normal. Bleach with caution and know your hair history ahead of time. Most importantly have fun. You can't beat platinum blonde for 8 bucks

Don't like
Not that good for the price. Turns your hair an orangish color unless you buy purple conditioner to put in your hair after you dye it.

Excellent Dye!
My wife loves dying her hair dark blue, and Garnier makes the best darned blue out of all of them. Last a long time, applies easily, and presto. No more gray, just beautiful, radiant hair color.

The best boxed bleach I've ever used.
I've been doing bright colours in my hair for 15 years, and almost always have used boxed bleach for ease as I don't have much space to store multiple tubs and bottles and bowls. I got used to having to bleach multiple times as I have low porosity, dark brown hair and need to lighten to at least a 9 for most colours. This bleach gets me to that level in one sessions/box. Even when I have to do my lengths and not just my roots like the pictures, it still works just as well. I'm not sure if maybe it making it a cooler blonde is what plays the biggest part or what, but I really hope this never gets discontinued!!!
