Nice sturdy seat
I purchased this product to be used outdoors. I was needing something that was light weight and sturdy when placed on a lawn. I sufferd a knee injury and I have difficultly getting up from a seated position. I use this bath bench for gardening. I am easily able to move it around the yard and tend to my plants. If the bench gets dirty-- I rinse it off with the water hose. Assembly is required and takes 10-15 minutes. This bench is also used for an ottoman. When my knee pain starts I sit in a regular chair and place my leg on top of it. The bench is adjustable for this purpose.

Strength and comfort.
Very good product. Well constructed and sturdy. Supports my 300 lbs. and feels very sold to sit on using it in the shower. No wiggle or wobble. Would recommend buying this product.

Makes scary noises but is sturdy
The whole time I'm using it it makes these creeking noises like it's about to break. I've checked it all over multiple times and I'm well under the max weight for it. It just makes these noises that are terrifying like it's about to snap. My last shower chair collapsed under me when a rusty bolt snapped while I was using it, so this makes me nervous every shower. It was easy to put together, took about 20 minutes by myself. The only downside is it was difficult for my hands, I have joint pain. It was manageable.

Feels secure and is durable.
I've tried a few different benches but always come back to this one. It does eventually wear out, as in the seat may crack at the seams and water collects inside the seat. I've had them last as long as 8 years.

Taking advantage of handicapped
What a piece of crap. Struggled to get this together. If you have any weakness in the hands, get a friend to do it. The center screw should work with a ring around it. NO way I could get this together with that teethed ring on there and I tried every configuration possible. There were already teeth marks on the piece where the ring hits; I believe this was already returned and just repackaged. Underneath the attachments don't fit in their channels properly. And once together, the freakin' legs aren't the same length because the holes aren't the same. I mean, you have ONE job in the factory. Make holes in a pipe, and you can't get that right? I'm so sick of having to return products I've assembled. Its HARD now, I mean, I need a bath bench, what does that tell you? So now, I have to take it apart and send it back? I'm really sick of having to recruit others to send inferior products back to the UPS store. Don't waste your time with this product, no quality control.

Truly a well made bath seat
Very happy with this bath seat. Very sturdy and well made. Went together well. Just be sure that you measure your bath tub to make sure it will fit. It has made taking a shower so much easier.

Holds Weight But Poor Assembly and Durability
Seat works in a large shower stall. However it was super difficult to put together. The hardest part was trying to get the seat to attach to the bars. The screws are not long enough to hold secure. 2 months of using and already screws are coming out.

Sturdy Shower Bench!
I am pleased with this Drive Bariatric Shower Bench! I was a little worried about assembling it based on the reviews, but I didn't have any problems. (I am a 76 year old woman.) The only slight issue I had was that one of the screws was supposed to be longer than the others. All the screws I received were the same, the count was accurate. So I used all of them. Everything came out good. This bench is sturdier than the bench without the reinforcement brackets. It is worth the extra money for that security!

Great price, fast shipping, Sturdy.
Very sturdy and easy to put together. My old one lasted 8 years, so I'm expecting this one to do as well. Great for bariatric patients. Easy to clean. The shape makes it easy to transfer from chair to bath bench. Awesome price and fast shipping.

Very Stable Shower Chair
I bought this product to use after some major surgery and it has been great. I am a big guy around 6'4" tall and 95Kg and this chair seems very stable and has no problem supporting my weight. I purchased the chair instead of renting because it just made sense it was about as much to buy as a month of rentals. It also fits a fairly narrow tub. I would recommend this chair to anyone that needs one.

It's pretty good.
The seat is made of two molded pieces of plastic - that makes the seam a weak point as shown in the attached pic. Also, the holes in the legs that allow for adjustable height also allow water to get into the legs/tubes and thus to build up in the legs. Since the INSIDE of the tubes/legs are not galvanized or powder coated - it rusts. The feet on the legs do come off easily, and go back on easily, so you can empty out the rusty water quite easily. The nuts that go on the bolts need to be done up REALLY tight of they will not fall off over time. A socket wrench will be needed to get them tight enough. Plyers will not be able to make it tight enough. Plyers will work short term. But you will have to keep tightening them up. The legs have good rubber feet and slipping on the shower and/or bathroom floor has never been a problem. With that all being said. I'd highly recommend this product. It's strong but light and easy to move.

Excellent value
If you are heavier in weight like me, this product is sturdy because of the cross bracing and will not collapse like models with only the 4 tubular legs. Reasonably comfortable
