The batteries that came with our B&D appliances were fading fast. It took three batteries to finish edging and weed whacking the hard. And much of that time was with a slow, anemic, barely running weed whacker.I bought these because they promised twice the amp hours of the original batteries. They came in, I charged them and was fairly happy. You may be asking "how does fairly happy translate into 5 stars?" Read on.The first thing I noticed was that the weed whacker was running faster had had LOTS more oomph. It cut through things that used to give it trouble. The fairly happy came from the fact it still took both batteries plus an older one to get through the weed whacking.However, as I kept using and charging them, they lasted longer. My first battery let me do about 3/4 of the yard, and that included lots of pesky weeds growing through the cracks in our driveway and between the flagstones on our porch. With the old batteries, the weed whacker just couldn't handle those. At the end of the first batteries run, the weed whacker was still running better than with the old batteries - I was just spoiled by the new batteries and wanted the thrill of an effective super charged weed whacker.So far, I'm delighted. We'll see if they last well. I'll report back at the end of the mowing season. In Texas, that's late October or early November.

I've been happy with my cordless B&D - it's served well after I used my beloved Makita 12V cordless to death. (It gave me at least a decade of worthy home-handyman use, no complaints there.) But it's still NiCd battery technology. You could gripe about the lower energy- and power-density than Li batteries offer, but I can handle that. NiCd has some inherent lifetime problems, though, even if you baby the battery to keep it going - not that I have patience for that.So I'm more than happy to get more life out of the tool with after-market batteries. These take as much of a charge as the originals did, based on my utterly unscientific sense of how long it runs on a fill-up. I'm not happy that NiCd weakens over time, but it does. I'd be a lot less happy if I had to dump a perfectly good motor - a few, actually, because this batter style serves several tools. I can't give you serious lab results, but these batteries perform as well as I could ask.-- wiredweird

Breathed new life into my old Back and Decker Grass Hog string trimmer and blower.. I have 1,000 ft to trim and edge If I do it all at once with one battery starts to fun out at 990 ft. I normally do not do it all at once so it is not a problem. They work so well they cut 5 to 10 min off the normal 30 min of trimming. Blower now has more power than it was new. Cut one star as the directions are useless. All I would have liked were suggested charging cycle and winter storage. Much better than B&D batteries that came with my equipment at half the cost. This one is a win win.

Needed a replacement battery for my Black and Decker weed wacker as it no longer held a charge for more than 15 mins.Searched Amazon reviews and found this 2 pack that had great reviews so thought I'd give it a try. . Wowee zowee it works! Not only does it work but it lasted long enough for me to weedwack the entire backyard ladened with high wet grass. The battery still has power in it when I was done. The 2 pack does not come with a cord but the one from my old black and decker fit just fine . So glad I purchased this. If you need a replacement battery for yours do not hesitate buy this!

These batteries are totally fantastic! They well outlast the originals by at least three times. Allowing you do a whole job like cutting hedges for over 30 minutes and then swapping the same battery into a blower to clear up the trimmings. In the past I have had several ones from Black and Decker and all of these lost their power very quickly as the charge fades very fast. These do not, I have tested them for months now, they are very robust and in fact work so well I ordered a second set as use them across my range of power tools. I highly recommend these. Thanks Forceatt, you have made a superior product!

These batteries work great. Charger and instructions state 9 hour charge time but I charge overnight with no problems. Batteries get hot when charging but then become warm. Initially I thought I had bought duds as they were not even getting warm. That's why I kept them charging overnight. Will most likely purchase two more giving me six. Four batteries gives me enough juice to cut two to three medium size trees plus trim limbs. Highly recommend these batteries.

Far better battery than the original! We use these on a B&D cordless leaf blower. One of the things we noticed, from the beginning, with the leaf blower was that the original battery did not hold charge for long. We just accepted that the leaf blower must be using a lot of charge due to the high rpm's... Until we used one of these batteries for the first time. Now we can actually complete our sweeps at full rpm and get the job done in one try.

We bought these to go with some tools we bought at an estate sale. They are a little hard to put on the tool but seem to work fine once it's attached. We haven't had them long enough to know if they hold a charge very long.
