I'm not sure if it works on fevers as when I bought it I thought I had one but it turns out, I didn't. The thermometer does not work on cats, which have a higher temperature than we do but the fur coating the cat insulates their temperature too well.It's easy to use and quick and painless. Just aim, keeping it a few inches from the forehead and click. Tahdah!

absolutely wonderful! After receiving this product, I have tested it out on my little baby. It is very convenient and easy to use and I can easily get temperature on my kid that doesn't involve squirming or screaming. It also has an LCD screen which makes it easy to read even if it was in the dark. I am so far very pleased with this product！

Should come in handy, still has the tab which means it came with battery installed. Ready to go right out of the box.

Pleasantly surprised! This is by far the best thermometer I’ve used. Fast, accurate and easy to use .This thermometer has diverse functions. You can measure the forehead or object(such as milk and water). The buttons are clearly marked and instruction manual with guidance on how to take the temperatures, how to switch from ℃ to ℉, memory function, as well as any trouble shooting problems you may have., storage bag and batteries are also included.Importantly , the screen is easy to read although it was in the dark.I Like it very much!
