The "Premier" Fiberglass Neck Crook for Sheep & Goats – 53"

I have a number of bloodhounds. They all come when called, with one exemption, this dog takes cover in the bushes where it is almost impossible to get to him. After pondering this problem for a while I remembered Shepherds Crooks. I was surprised to find that there are many for sale, different lengths, Crook design, etc.Ordered a long one, problem solved. I can place the crook behind his head from a distance and he comes willingly after a slight nudge. If you have a similar problem this is the answer. Quick delivery, as advertised.

Have a bunch of goats and kids. Helps keep everyone on the direction we want them to go. Use it in all kinds of weather.

I wish it wasn't hollow, it cracked first use when I tried to get goats out of the pen and it got lodged between the gate . It's still usable but it shouldn't be hollow

Works until your goats learn what it is for, then they stay out of your reach.

We were first-time owners of 2 baby pygmy goats. Ideal pets but can be hard to corral. We now know why shepherds use them!

This is the second one for our farm. It is very sturdy and worth the money.

I thought this would be a helpful item for catching sheep. Once the sheep pulled against it, the hook popped out of the shaft. Would be better if it was one solid piece.

Not a strong product. Broke quickly on my 130 lbs Ewe. Do not recommend for catching strong healthy animals
