LOVE THEM
06-09-17: I am still loving these dish rags. The one that I nicked with the scissors when I was opening the package has not unraveled and it is one of my favorite ones to use. They do not hold stains yet (I don't use bleach in the washer), they are holding up nicely. I highly recommend buying these dishcloths.04/08/17: As promised, I am upgrading this review... When I had brought the dishcloths out of their package, they were large (14'ish), thin, and "where's the waffle"... After washing/drying, they are now 12'ish and I found the waffle... I just finished doing a sink or two of dishes and I just love these dishcloths...04/07/17: Just got these today, they are a lot thinner than I thought they would be. After I wash them and use them I will redo this review. They did arrive sooner than they said they would arrive. I would warn people that if you cannot open the package to be super careful if you use something to cut open the package.

Best Brand Around-from a 2nd time buyer
These are basic, old-fashioned dishcloths for washing dishes or wiping counters. Fabulous. The right size too. Good ones are difficult to find anymore in stores. I've tried others on Amazon and these are the BEST. The waffle weave is tightly woven - it is better quality than the loosely woven ones and the edges are sewn closer to avoid snagging. You can buy 3 sets and still pay the same shipping (see reviews). Buy plenty for yourself and use a clean one every day to avoid germs and contamination. I've given to 5 women as gifts; they were thrilled. The only disadvantage is that one has no choice in colors. I cut all the tags off mine and the gifts for others before using. This particular brand is a real winner; don't hesitate to buy them if you want this type of dishcloth. MUCH BETTER than washing dishes with a sponge.

Great little dish cloth!
So far they are great. They aren't super thick so easily wring out. If cleaning up something like tomato sauce I put a little dish soap on the rag and rub it together and the red comes out, so the cloth doesn't keep stains. That is great in and of itself. Will definitely purchase again.

Lots of service for the money
This is the second round of these dishcloths I've bought from Amazon. They're thin but tough; not substantially hemmed, & obviously not intended for use in mopping up puddles; but - after adding a simple crocheted edging - exclusive use of a dozen of them has provided me > a year's worth of service. This time I ordered 2 dozen, & with the last batch still in service I was able to compare the original set w/the new ones. What I found is that 1) although I thought the new ones were much bigger than the old, actually these dishcloths shrink a lot in the initial wash (hot water, line dry), & 2) the previous batch has worn appropriately, given the price & the amount of wear to which they've been subjected.

Doing the job ...
I purchased these dish cloths to help reduce my paper towel usage; and to that end, they have achieved their goal. Before using, I washed these cloths and have found them sufficient for wiping down wet counter tops. They dry fairly quickly. My only disappointment is that they are very "scratchy" compared to my older 100% cotton dish cloths. However, since they were reasonably priced (w/shipping ~$1.00 per cloth), that was the deciding factor in this purchase.

I Rarely Buy Anything That Doesn't Have Free Shipping....
I rarely buy anything that doesn't have free shipping but I have been looking for exactly this type of dish cloth and apparently they have become difficult to find. I am VERY happy with my purchase.I find everything about them to be exactly like the ones I've been using since I was a child in my family home (and I'm old!). Yes they shrink and get wrinkly - that's exactly what you want. Yes the edges may fray a little. Just clip off the loose strings; usually that's the end of it.They are 100% cotton and totally absorbent. These do not have a rolled or turned-under hem. Again, that's what you want. If there's a rolled or folded hem, it stays wet a lot longer than these with overstitched edges, which means more chance of mildew and odors.Even though the total cost including shipping was more than I wanted to pay, I would buy them again tomorrow if I needed more. They probably have to up the price a little because people won't need to buy them again for years.

Waste of MONEY!!!
Don’t purchase unless you want a cheap paper towel! They were so thin you could see right through them; looks very cheap, like cheap toilet paper. The only positive thing about them was the length 14x14. They were expensive for the quality of the cloth; I paid $12.00 for 6.Don’t be fooled by the product description hype .I gave ONE STAR because of the length.

Great dishrags!
I was afraid these would be too big, but after washing they shrank to just the right size (11 in square). They did also have a fair number of loose threads. The waffle weave is great for scrubbing, and they hold the right amount of water as well. They are the perfect thickness to "feel" the mess through them.
