phenomenal sound with these! the lows, mids and highs are super crisp. voices are heard clearly thanks to their software that compensates for when the bass hits and the vocals are coming through simultaneously. this feature is so seamless its just bliss. ive owned many headphones and am a electronic tech myself so when i say these sound phenomenal i mean it... but i have owned wired headsets that have sounded better because of the THD. total harmonic distortion is the measure of basically how much they will distort. these Jaybird X3's have a thd of <3% which is great but ive heard wired sets with <1% and it is noticeable to me but i have really good hearing. anyway the reason its so much easier to get less feedback with wired is because its not transmitting data over Bluetooth. The jaybird X2's vs Jaybird X3's are a great example of this because the X2's have the old Bluetooth 2.1 they have a thd<5% vs the X3's which again have <3 but it has alot to do with the upgraded Bluetooth 4.1 technology that has been incorporated. Sound gets a 4 of 5 rating from me. Next on to the FIT AND FEEL...I train in the gym 6 days a week for 2hours a day between both weightlifting and cardio. That being said ive had the chance to listen to them for about 10 hrs (i got them last week) and because these are smaller than last gen they are so comfortable in your ear. i literally have a problem with every other pair of earbuds but these WOW! Ive never had a pair fit so snug in my ear and b so light like a feather and unobtrusive (minimally protrudes out of the ear) all at the same time. Thie reason they fit and feel so great is not just because of the small size and light weight.... its also because Jaybird gives you an awesome assortment of earbuds and attachments right in the box. so yea...FIT AND FEEL couldn't be more perfect and gets a 5 out of 5 from me. The last thing ill rate is overall DESIGN. When you pick these up in your hand they are so light yet so strong as well. They have went ahead and used a light metal alloy to add integrity to the overall structure which is also an upgrade from the previous generation. these are rated IPX7 i believe.... they are not designed for water sports.... they are made to be sweat-proof, water-resistant so even though they look like they could, i recommend you DO NOT submerge them or shower with them. The wire holding the buds together is what id like to touch on next because the wire is really cool. its flat and sits on ur neck really nice and its thick with solid connectors at the end attaching them firmly to the earbuds themselves. Last thing i will say about design, which some people may love and some may not, these have a patented charger so they clip on to a special charging clip (included in the box). this charging part design is the only thing that i feel i may or may not have an issue with. It is great in the water resistant aspect because no mini usb or male connector is ever inserted therefore water will have a much more difficult time entering and destroying your headset BUT there charge clip is confusing as to which end clips and honestly their charging clip feels cheap like it could break at any given moment. so DESIGN im going to give 2 separate ratings... one for the earbud design an easy 5 out of 5 in my book... but the "charger clip" design a 1. OVERALL this is the best wireless earbud set ive ever owned.... if i had to say one word PERFECT!

Update: my pair crapped out after 11 months and the replacement they sent me has only a 4 hour battery life after 8 months of use. Dont buy jaybird. When i talked to customer service about the poor battery life on the replacement they offered me a 15% discount on my next purchase. I understand I wasnt going to get a new pair since my warranty had expired but offering a 15% discount on my next purchase from them is pretty insulting. Why would I buy from them again if two pairs of headphones they sent me couldnt last a year.This headphones make me wish I never stopped using my $13 wired headphones. First, these headphones cannot stay in my ear. No matter the amount of different ways I try to shove it in my ear one side always comes lose after 5 minutes. I tried all the ear wings they provided and all the sizes of earbud foams they give you. It will always fall out. Fun fact, I'm writing this review with one earbud in because the other one fell out in the time I started writing this review. One of the foam earbuds actually ripped because of the amount of times I had to shove the earbud back in my ear because it fell out. Second, the wire will always gravitate to the side with the controls because it is slightly heavier. This makes it easier for the earbud to come lose because it is unbalanced. Of course, they would say try using the clip for the wire to attach to your shirt. This doesnt help much because the wire still slides when the clip is attached so the problem is not fixed. The reason I bought these headphones was because a lot of youtube reviewers suggested it as one of the best workourt headphones. Now, I'm starting to think their reviews were not very genuine. I have had these things for almost 3 months and waited this long to write a review fairly. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the sound is solid and the battery life that is advertised is about right. Point is dont waste your money on these. I wish I could have my money back.Ps. They did not list one unique feature to these earphones. You actually tend to lift more and or run faster with these things on because you are so frustrated that you bought these things that your pent up frustration gives you more energy.I stopped midworkout to write this thing.

This was the last pair of earbuds I was going to try, now I am hooked!I have been through 8 other pairs of earbuds attempting to fill the void left by my expectations of receiving the Kanoa's that were crowd-funded. Unfortunately, Kanoa just couldn't get it together and went under along with $150 of my hard-earned cash. After that I bought several pairs of earbuds (Anker, Beats, Plantronics Backbeat Fit (these were and are actually still excellent), and a host of cheaper brands in an attempt to find a set of earbuds that would work for me at the gym. So many had great features, ergonomics, pricing, etc. The problem was, not one pair of them could hold up to a session in the gym and provide clear, crisp, sound with bass and stay put during a single workout.Enter the Jaybird X3's... After literally one second of having these in my ears (with the default configuration straight out of the box) I knew I had finally found something exceptional. I've had these for a week so far and have been to the gym 4 of those days. In each of those sessions, these beauties stayed put firmly and the sounds is just mind-blowing. Full, rich range and amazing bass response. I have heard most of the same songs for the last decade+ but haven't heard them this way until this past week. I am so impressed with what Jaybird has done here that I cannot properly enunciate it.They come with a ton of accessories that will allow a fit into what I believe to be any ear type. The packaging and quality of the build is incredible. The sounds quality is beyond stellar.If you are on the fence and have had bad experiences with earbuds in the past, this is a game-changer. Order these, do not look back, thank me later. Jaybird has made a believer out of me!

Mis antiguos Jaybird (Primera generación) eran excelentes pero después de 4 años la batería ya no retenía las 7 horas de duración por lo que decidí comprar estos y ¿cuál fue mi decepción? que estos no se podían sincronizar con la app de Mysound pero sí con mi teléfono y la batería no alcanzaba ni las 4 horas de duración a un volumen bajo, estoy totalmente decepcionado, ahora solo me queda buscar un buen reemplazo para mis viejos Jaybird.

The battery was obviously faulty and only lasted 7 minutes when fully charged.

He tenido todos los Jaybird desde los X1 y puedo decir que son unos audífonos excelentes. Tanto el producto como el servicio post-venta son muy buenos.
